Hotel staff went above and beyond. The town had a surprise water main break and boil order that disrupted service at all the local restaurants & hotels. The Hampton staff hustled out and got jugs of water and a Keurig so all the guests had morning coffee. We were impressed. Overall, stay was excellent
Hampton Inn is very conveniently located and is within walking distance of the campus and uptown stores and restaurants. During our stay the hotel staff was friendly and professional, the room and bathroom were clean (although the decor in dark red and gold tones was rather drab), the air conditioning unit was very noisy and tended to come on and off all night, and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was awful, however. The buffet included scrambled eggs that were odd-tasting and dry, "fresh" fruit (melon slices?) that was limp and soggy, Trie-flavored yogurt, dry croissants and very weak coffee. Overall, Hampton Inn is a pleasant, serviceable hotel with the one caveat that you should plan on seeking breakfast elsewhere.

I booked two rooms for my son's graduation from Miami University, the location was only a couple blocks from the University and downtown Oxford Ohio. The Hampton was what I always expect from the Hilton group, clean, well appointed and a solid value.
The hotel is a little hidden behind a small shopping strip. Once found it was easy access. It's convenient to "uptown" and you could walk there if you like. The parking lot wasn't crowded. Check in was quick and we received a room on the 1st floor. After a long drive the free coffee and tea/hot chocolate was a welcome treat in the lobby. The room was pretty standard with two double beds. Neutrogena products were provided in the bath - a nice plus. We could hear our neighbor snoring either from next door or above (not sure) but otherwise quiet. Breakfast was good and included in our room. A good variety and good coffee with "to go" cups. Overall a good stay and good value.

Staff very friendly. Recommended a wonderful restaurant which was ideal for us! Room was extremely clean, comfortably and modern. Complimentary breakfast was delicious! In the morning, the front desk, offered 'on-the-go' breakfast bags, how unique, different from any other hotel. I can't wait to return!
We stayed at the Hampton during a college visit to Miami University. The hotel is close to campus, very clean and the staff was very friendly. Also enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning.
