We stayed one night in a great spacious room that was clean and comfortable. It hotel entrance is in the rear of the building ad the retail stores occupy the prime location in the front. Signage was clear and directus to the entrance, staff were courteous and efficient, spoke English too. The room include a mini kitchen with coffee maker, refrigerator and lots of room. The property was recently renovated and include smoke detectors and fire doors as well as new finishes. A great value and location!

This was a good choice for a overnight stay to take the Glacier Express. The room was clean and functional, the bathroom had a heated towel rack and a shower head you can actually stand under. The breakfast choices were typical, but were prepared with more pride and care than normal. Fruit salad was hand made, not canned; hard boiled eggs had their shells painted colourfully just because. Food was fresh. That this was a family run hotel who take pride in ownership showed. And thanks for the free upgrade.

The hotel met our expectation.A no frills hotel with clean rooms in a good location. The breakfast was a bit disappointing though .The place where they serve breakfast is pretty small and doesn't have enough tables.Hence,we had to share tables with strangers. The breakfast spread is quite limited. All in all ,a good place to stay if you are just looking for an overnight stay after taking the Bernina express

We stayed here for two nights while travelling through Europe and the Bernina Express. The hotel has everything you need - a good location, clean rooms and friendly staff. Located very close to the train station and many restaurants. The breakfast was fresh and many of the items were homemade.

The Central Hotel Post provides modern well equipped but no frills rooms. It is in the town centre but on a pedestrianised road so quite quiet and only about 10 minutes walk from the station. The young lady on reception was very helpful with suggestions of what to do and where to eat. The breakfast was excellent. Most people seem to only spend a night in Chur before or after travelling on the Bernina Express but it is well worth spending an extra day there. It is an attractive old town and a surprisingly good art gallery for a small town (particularly if you like Kirchner). In the afternoon you can take a cable car to Brambruesch just on the edge of the town for good views and walks.

Just what you need to stay overnight or couple of nights. Basic amenities, no A/C or fan. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. 10 minutes walk from train station. Near several restaurants and shops. Comfortable and clean beds.

This is a clean, comfortable, ~ spartan hotel in the old town, about a 10 minute stroll from the train station. We overnighted here between runs on the GE and BE. There were several good restaurants within 250m. Our room was good sized, had a fine shower, and was very quiet even with the window open. Breakfast was very satisfactory.

Average standard hotel - probably good for 3 star rating. Walkable distance from railway station so convenient for travelling on Bernina and Glacier express. Our room quite small for 2 people, when we arrived set up as single and think more suited for this. Small kitchenette not really usable except to make the room a bit bigger, as cooking facility not allowed to be used due to fire restrictions, and no crockery, cutlery etc except standard 2x cups and glasses Reception and breakfast on 2nd floor with entrance around the corner from street. Breakfast included and good choices. Post theme throughout with interesting pictures as decoration.

We stayed in Chur recently and enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Post. It was quite pricey but had the amenities we needed. Quite small room, 2 single beds pushed together to make a double and no air con although opening a window helped. Our room had a private bathroom but the shared bathrooms looked quite nice as well. Breakfast was really nice, croissants and breads, meats, cheeses, cereal and fruit, yogurt, coffee, hot choc and tea. Simple but well organised and lovely staff. 06:30-10am breakfast is available. Central location and easy walk to/from the train station.

I stayed for two night and it was OK. A bit pricy for a hotel with no airconditioning (and it is mid-August) and very simple no thrills room. But it was clean and breakfast was good. The best feature is its location in the downtown Chur and walking distance to the railway station.
