No shuttle from Airport available when I phoned to let them know our flight wouldn’t arrive until 6:30 PM. Taxi cost $ 48.00 NZ to drive 7 km. Arrived at motel in pouring rain and nearest grocery store 20 minutes walk away, no restaurants nearby-Domino wouldn’t deliver pizza. Many thanks to young man at front desk who drove us to nearest grocery store Motel very old, rundown with old appliances and furnishings. Garden in very poor shape with just one old swing. We had to ask for milk and no shampoo.

Items were stolen in broad daylight from inside my LOCKED motel room. Laptop, bike gps computer, portable speaker, iPod, headlamp. All expensive and important things to a bike packer. Owners are not taking any responsibility. Windows were cracked but they are 5’ off the ground and property is fenced. They acknowledge that their staff entered the property to ‘service’ it even though I never requested it bc I was only there for 2 nights and one day. I filed police report and tracked the laptop to their location for an additional 4 days after I reported the theft. They still claim zero responsibility. Frustrating to say the least. So not stay here.

Had a wonderful sleep, for a busy road it was a quiet place. This is a budget hotel, so for the pricing it is great. So it is an older motel so the rooms reflect that, the housekeeping could be better. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely that they had turned the heating on, I was coming in on a late flight. Bedroom light above bed didn't work so had to get out of bed again to turn out the light. Kitchen could do with a blind as can been seen from outside

Unit was clean but overall a bit tired. Although the sign in the unit said breakfast was available this was not the case. This wasn’t a problem as the location provides plenty of places to get breakfast. Reasonable for the price and location. I needed to be close to the airport so this was ideal.
