Love the shuttle service to the airport. Mum was nit able to use the shower over the bath and would have had difficulty getting to second level. Thankfully able to change rooms. Restaurant had lively food however the poor staff member was very busy.

Older kitchen and bathroom facilities, but everything still worked. Modern lounge and bedroom. Very comfortable with A/C and heat pump to suit your liking. Nice restaurant too

Very friendly staff. Being picked up at the airport at 2am was very useful and seamless. Just a phone call away. The rool is very spacious with a living room, a mini kitchen well furnished and the bathroom is clean and well supplied. Very good value for the price.

Close to airport. Parking was first in best dressed, but still OK. Not much arounf the area, so a car is a must. Staff are fantastic pick up from airport all hours, but still with a smile.

We stayed at the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge for 2 separate nights. Once on our 12.05am arrival to Christchurch where Lexi was such a fantastic ball of energy when she came to pick us up from the airport, that she gave us a 2nd wind. We couldn't have asked for better. Later on in the morning, due to a few major hiccups, we had a rocky start to our holiday. I was quite upset but Jacqui was the most helpful, calming & understanding person we could have met. It was as if she was tuned into my anxiety & not once did she make me feel rushed or embarrassed. Without Jacqui I probably would have had a meltdown. Due to the service & positive vibes we received, we decided to stay the night before we went home to Australia. From now on, the Airport Gateway Motor Lodge is our first point of call whenever we go to Christchurch. Thanks Jacqui, Lexi and the other lovely staff (including your beautiful office manager puppy). xoxo
