We had the most wonderful stay at the modern rancher. Lynn the host, was absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. The home itself is very big and lots of room for families with nice renovations and the decorating is is lovely. She is stocked with condiments, spices, towels, laundry soap. We only had to buy food. The location is so close to downtown and district 1881, so lots of restaurants and grocery stores and a dollar store near by. I read a couple of the reviews about the ‘busy’ road but we didn’t find it that noisy. If you’re used to acreage living, you would notice the traffic but I live on a busier street so it wasn’t an issue for us. We will definitely stay here again on our next time out! Thank you Lynn for your wonderful hospitality!

Clean, spacious. On busy street
We had a, great stay. Everything we needed. Nice yard with outside sitting area. Only downfall was the very noisy road. The room with double bed with private bath is very loud and bright. The suggestion would be a peckaroll shutter on the outside window in that room. Nice caretakers downstairs. Recommended!

Quaint but noisy!
Our stay was mostly enjoyable, but really struggled with the outside noise. We were not aware that the property was on a very busy street with a lot of traffic and not great windows. We all struggled to sleep for the 3 evenings we were there, which is unfortunate. We also had to purchase pillows for each of the beds as the pillows provided were very new, hard, with too much fluff and very high to get comfortable enough to sleep.

Christmas in Chilliwack
Very nice, updated, roomy, clean house with a well equipped kitchen. All in all, everything was as expected. The host even put out some Christmas decorations! Regarding the beds, I would prefer to have a top sheet (flat sheet). All the beds in the house had the fitted sheet covering the mattress and then only a duvet as the cover. The house is on a busy street (bus line), so we used a fan to drown out the noise. Would definitely stay again, though. Thank you!
