A great place to stay

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The were helpful and friendly making sure our stay went well. Would definitely stay there again if I return to Chiang Rai.

Very clean and superb staff

We were spending only one night in here. Although they say there is no breakfast, there are eggs, toast and tea and coffee and you can make DIY breakfast which is included in the price. Staff are very welcoming and you can see that rooms are well maintained and unbelievably clean.

Located in a good area. Very clean. It has a funky design. Very helpful and friendly staff. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the am. Bananas and eggs.

Ok for a few nights

PROS: Super nice staff. Service with the famous Thai smile everyday. They helped me find things to do, helped me learn the public bus system and held my bags on my departure day. Cute artsy hotel with unique decor items. Walking distance to the main bus station, night market, clock tower and various restaurants and street food. CONS: Didn’t like the clear and colored glass block windows in the bathroom that look out into the common hallway. Also my room had clear glass blocks that looked into an employee area. Felt like any creep could look in my room anytime and watch me shower or sleep. Concrete shower walls have not been cleaned in a long time. There were thick shampoo drippings from the dispenser stuck to the walls. The shower curtain was moldy. Ok for a few nights. Just bring shower shoes.

Cute decors

Very nice boutique resort with 2 buildings located at a quiet street, less road noise. Room was sufficient and AC worked. Free bottled water daily in my room and you can cook breakfast on 2nd floor with eggs, toast and coffee/tea. Bed was comfortable not soft or hard. The only complaint is the shower as water built up. There's hot water for shower. Communication pre check in was poor as I was trying to get info to the resort. Turned out taxi would cost 150 baht or the local bus for 20 baht. I took the bus back to airport and it was with AC, modern and comfy.

First of all the staff at Na Rak O is wonderful. The location is very close to the bus station and night market. An easy 7 minute walk with our roller bags to and from the bus station. The room we had was clean and comfortable. The air cond was great. Cook yourself breakfast is eggs, toast, and bananas. Wash the dishes you use. This hotel is a great value for the price. We loved our stay.

Hidden Gem

My daughter and I stayed 4 nights at Na-Rok-O, and so glad we did! The hosts could not have been kinder and more helpful. The room was spotless and quiet, and the location perfect for us since we took the bus from Chiang Mai. The Inn is a short walk from the station and close to the night market and restaurants. As some reviews said the beds are hard, but this is not uncommon in Thailand. We stayed extended our stay and so stayed in both the standard and the deluxe room; the deluxe room the beds are definitely more comfortable, both though are equally charming. Love the colorful atmosphere, and enjoyed making breakfast in the morning. The hosts supply coffee, tea, eggs, bananas, bread, etc. and this was a great way to meet other guests! We will definitely stay here when we return to Chiang Rai.

Clean and convenient

Clean, colourful room in a quite location close to the bus station and night market. There are 2 buildings we stayed in the older one closer to the lily pond the rooms felt damp. Breakfast available Dig eggs toast etc.

Would stay again

Really enjoyed our stay at Na-Rak-O Guesthouse (we even stayed an extra day). The room was spacious, modern and clean. The guesthouse is really accommodating to anything you need. Also there is the plus of using the kitchen in the mornings for breakfast, where bread, butter, jam, eggs, bananas etc are provided. Free bottles of water were put in our room every day too. We would definitely recommend this Guesthouse.
