Beautiful hotel with friendly helpful staff. Our room was stunning, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed. We had a swim up room so sitting on our patio was a real delight. The grounds are beautifully maintained with the pool and ponds being cleared of falling foliage constantly. A relative had a villa which was amazing. The only negative was the pool was on the cold side.
My fiance and I stayed four nights here from August 27th through the 31. Once we stepped foot in the hotel, we were greeted with so much hospitality. Not only is the hotel gorgeous but the staff overall are super friendly and helpful. I can not stress how wonderful they are. I did not receive my luggage from the airport and was told it would be sent over to my hotel. My fiance and I had a hard time contacting the airport to know the status of our luggage and luckily Sam, the gentleman in the front desk actually called the airport and got us our luggage. We had our luggage the next morning. This hotel has so many great amenities and facilities like the spa. It's a great way to relax. I tired so hard not to fall asleep...yes it was that good! Plus the prices are reasonable! Again staff super professional and friendly. But my favorite was the pool. It was our highlight in staying in the hotel. It was our first time in Thailand yet we felt as we was home. Thanks Tee, (a wonderful staff member we met) for your hospitality. Drinking in the pool bar, and just chatting about life is a memory that will forever be imprinted in our hearts!. We didn't expect to make a friend, but that is exactly what happen! Plus he makes awesome margaritas! Overall our stay here was a unforgettable experience. We can't wait to visit again.
We were there in August and really enjoyed our stay.we were upstairs over looking the pool which went for miles it seemed like which I must add was spotless.the surroundings were excellently maintained with a beautiful garden walkway and breakfast was full of Thai and western flavour.the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.we loved the closeness to a large supermarket down the road with in walking distance.highly recommended place to stay
This hotel is a delightfully peaceful beautiful spt located within the city of Chiang Mai. The hotel offers many adventures. The restaurant and staff are very accommodating. The hotel environment is full of trees and ponds with Koi. They play music for all to hear (while walking around) which is soothing and makes for a very peaceful stay.
On arrival check-in was easy, this resort takes you back in time with its ancient feel. Getting to our room we found it very spacious, large bathroom with a spa bath and a huge shower with water jets. We chose a pool access room and that was a good decision. As it was my birthday they wrote happy birthday in petals on our bed and gave me a chocolate birthday cake. We went for a walk to the shopping centre less than 10 mins away it has everything. We put some wine and cheese in the fridge and turned it up we were set. We had a wonderful nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. The following day we went for breakfast which we found very satisfying with a good variety. After lunch we took a swim to the swim up bar where we met Tee what a lovely friendly person. The following day we went to the swim-up bar where we met Sam another beautiful friendly person, I explained our fridge was not working and asked for a bucket of ice. She immediately had that delivered and also contacted maintenance about the fridge with in an hour there was a brand new fridge in our room. We met Two he was again a friendly staff member. The staff here are so happy and they will all tell you it is because they have a great boss so he needs to be congratulated. There is a free shuttle to town but get in as early as possible for this as there are limited seats. We did not get breakfast with our booking but that was no big deal each morning that we felt like breakfast we just went to reception and got a voucher it cost $350 baht per person. I highly recommend this resort and everybody we talked to staying here was loving their stay as well. If you do happen to have a problem just talk to somebody they are happy to help in any way possible.
We were amazed at the beauty of this resort, from the moment we arrived, everything was fantastic.Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The room was lovely, staff were as helpful as possible and very friendly. We selected to stay on the upper floor but all the rooms still offer a very good view of the lovely swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and each of them is equiped with a jacuzzi and a shower with a system allowing you to choose either having water coming down from the top or jet-streaming from three direction on to your body. They have free shuttle to take you to night bazzar at 7pm and bring you back at 9pm.We had a good time at this resort and will be definitely back.
This place is beautiful! So lush! The staff is super helpful and the rooms are very clean. I loved the entire feel and design of the place. The pool is a great feature. I would suggest getting a poolside view room. Even if you do not swim, the pool is gorgeous.
Well, now we have spent a full 7 days at this wonderful hotel. I had to find out for myself what the mosquito problem was all about. I'm so glad we did! I don't understand how anyone could expect that a resort so surrounded by natural waterways and so many beautiful gardens and fabulous old trees would not have some mosquitos. We did find a few when we sat out on our balcony, but the resort supplied mosquito repellent that seemed to work well. I never saw any mosquitos in our room. We simply made sure the screens were closed at all times. Now to the resort itself. I can't remember any other property I have stayed at where I received better service from such wonderful staff. The food was good, the drinks were cold and the overall experience was great. On the down side, I found it a little disappointing that you couldn't find a taxi or tuk tuk close to the property. It is a little isolated and a cheap taxi service would have given more opportunities to explore the surrounds. Another small issue was the in room refrigerator, which was not even cold. This meant that you couldn't simply take a beer back to your room and have a cold one when you wanted it. The restaurant were more than happy to provide ice and bucket but that is not as convenient as being able to pull out a coldie whenever you felt like one. No resort is perfect and this is no exception, however I was sorry to leave and would not hesitate to return for a further stay.
We were amazed at the beauty of this resort, from the moment we arrived, everything we experienced was 1st class.....our room was beautifully appointed with a large King size bed and balcony over looking the large lagoon style pool....we loved coming home to this place, as much as it cost a bit to travel over the four lane hwy to the main city, we have a total sanctuary from the outside world, and even more wonderful were the staff at breakfast, Mez, & Mr Tee (who made the best Banana Smoothy's) and how kind was our new Hotel Manager Mr Opus who invited us to cocktails by the pool, we shan't forget any of you! Nothing was too much trouble for in this enchanting oasis.....
The property is located away from the busy city centre; yet not too far to get to town. You can walk to Big C supermarket. It has an awesome pool and good spa facilities. Room is a little dark and dated but I guess it was meant to compliment the architecture of the resort. The property is generally quiet; good privacy. Check out the happy hour there!
