We stayed here during our photo tour to cover Yi Peng Festival. The hotel is very accessible, at the back is the night market where you can buy almost everything for souvinirs. However, this hotel is very old you can easily tell from outside and facade, my room is quite smelly when you get in because of the carpet and curtains, you can also see sign of stains from old wall papers and inside toilet tiles. Poor maintenance even on lobby, breakfast is just ok, but staff are very friendly and helpful.
Family of 3 adults, stayed in family room, apprehensive at first as hotel is looking a little tired (some renovations underway) however room was spotless three single beds with divider inclusive breakfast was adequate. The big plus was the location out the rear entrance into the Anusan markets . Not the Ritz but good value.
Hi, For my parents s anniversary wedding at C H Hotel chiang mai, the excellent team have surprised them with a delicious cake! So, be sure you can find some special attention from every people: - front desk - restaurant - housekeeping Special thanks all of them, you can live an emotional moment. Stay in this hotel and feel good..... PS a secret door to go fast at Anusarn market.....
The CH Hotel is right next to the night market and several great restaurants. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. The lobby, restaurant and meeting rooms are above average for Chiangmai. At first I was disappointed in the hotel due to my room. I anticipate it being old decor, but it had extreme wear. I saw the cleaning staff work diligently to clean in spite of the issues. So I was happy to learn that they are in process of renovating all rooms, mine was just not done. A tour consolidator is also in the lobby...they were helpful and made great recommendations for some fun days after my business concluded. I would give a rating of 3 due to the room, but with Reno in progress increased to 4. It has the makings of an excellent hotel with out the Shanghai-La price.
I am currently staying at C H Hotel having stayed here on a past visit to Chiang Mai. I am writing this review to encourage you to book your accommodation at this hotel when visiting the city. The hotel was built some years ago and, like all buildings in Chiang Mai, the weather does impact on its appearance. Maintenance does present on on-going issue. However the cleanliness of the rooms is maintained daily by very polite and cheerful staff. There is a variety of well prepared food offered at breakfast in a large and comfortable dining area. The hotel is IDEALLY located in the city with most of the main tourist attractions of the city within walking distance. Transport can also be easily arranged. Within the reception area there is also a tourist desk where cheerful and very competent staff can arrange day trips for you. The swimming pool is very welcome after a hot day of tourist activities in this wonderfull city. On any future trip I will certainly be staying at this hotel.
The staff was helpful. Our rooms were average. My room was different than the room next door. Maybe they are remodeling? My bed was comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Housekeeping was really kind and gracious. They cleaned and made up our rooms well. Breakfast is mainly Thai food. They advertise it as American, European, Thai. It has some cold cereal, fresh fruit, and toast. The rest is Thai. Not really multicultural. Coffee and tea were pretty good. Would I stay again? Maybe. It is an easy location right next to the night market and places to eat. It's not far from Hard Rock. It is not really luxurious at all.
Booked for family room, overall room condition is acceptable. Quiet big room and it's perfect for 4 of us. Given room at 5th floor. Perfect location, Anusan night market just behind of this hotel. 7 eleven just about 200m from hotel. Breakfast is okay, acceptable. Im just not happy on the housekeeping, i do not know if they really clean the room, they just left food plastic, unwash cups for 2 days and pillow on the floor.haha. No other big issue.
Smelly rooms, broken sheets and super old rooms. Just a place I wouldn't choose ever again. The breakfast is very bad and the rooms feel like you cannot breath due to the horrible smell. The location is good for the night bazaar but there are plenty of other hotels around here. This is not worth it!!!!
What a disappointment. The photos are very misleading on the website. Arrived at 7.30 am the morning and was given an early check in this was very kind of them. The hotel lobby was very impressive. But oh boy what a shock when I got out of the lift. The carpets were disgusting, I thought to myself what have you let yourself in for. My bathroom was so run down and shabby. The bed was very comfortable and good pillows. The pool area was not in the shade and they do not provide umbrellas. Breakfast was ok, not much to write home about. Only thing I did like about this hotel is that is situated next to the night market. The staff are also very helpful and kind.
A good experience overall. The hotel though needs a little renovation, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms, had some issues with the first room and they tried to accomodate in several ways. Then they upgraded not just one but both rooms due to an issue in one room and we wanted to be next to each other. Special thanks to Jatuporn who specially kept pineapples for us during breakfast. Overall everybody was really welcoming and accomodating.
