We loved Amata Lanna Village in Chiang Mai. The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff, especially Yumi, made our stay exceptional. She helped us plan a few excursions and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. She was amazing and we will remember her as a great part of our trip.
This is a *fantastic* property, very well maintained and managed. I have never encountered more friendly and helpful staff than in this hotel, and I have been in many high-end hotels. This is a 5-star (max) property. If they even would offer freshly brewed coffee from the local coffee maker in Chiang Mai for breakfast, this would be a 6-star (does not exist) property. Thank you!!

It was such a pleasure staying there the past weekend, the hotel is super charming, a little oasis in the middle of Chiang Mai. It is not extremely close to the city center or main tourist attractions, but a quick 10 min grab-ride was a great solution. The staff is super super friendly, they accommodate all your needs and wishes always with a smile in their face. My purpose of the trip was to relax and this place made it happen!
This hotel is beautiful and in a quiet area. Tiki was attentive to all our needs and was so sweet and helpful--the best front desk/manager i have ever met during my travels. Highly recommended!! Just book here. And ask for Mr Thew if you need a private tour guide who speaks wonderful English.
Booking through Orbitz, we were not able to specify the type of rooms we wanted to book. There was a mix up and one of the rooms we booked was 1 king bed instead of two twin beds. When we arrived at the hotel, and this mistake was realized, the staff at notified us that the hotel was fully booked for the weekend and we couldn't switch rooms. But they worked with us and added an additional twin bed into the room for a discounted fee. The rest of the stay was super smooth with the friendliest staff. The folks who run the hotel were the friendliest Thai family. They booked the cabs for us, they helped managed our tours and itineraries. I couldn't have ask for a better experience in Chiangmai. If you're looking for an easy and pleasant experience which maximize your stay in Chiangmai, I would highly recommend staying at Amata Lanna. My fiancee and I will definitely be back in Chiangmai, and definitely staying with these folks.
