If you choose the cheaper rooms, they are very rude at the front desk. Don't expect too much! I upgraded my room and it was okay.

The hotel was pretty good. Near the old town, very clean and the staff was very friendly. Some minor details at out dated, likrme the room keys and elevators, but that was not really an issue for us since they both worked perfectly fine when needed. It is walking distance from the Chiang Mai biggest street market (3 blocks) and you can't beat that. Recommended for this destination for sure.

I like the small sauna and pool. Good location for the price. I would stay again.

To be greeted with a very sour attitude and reluctant service by the front desk really set a lousy tone for a stay in Chiang Mai. I visited other hotels around the area and for the same price you can get a lot more service and amenities with a better attitude. I would avoid this hotel. The area around Chiang Mai is great for touring with the usual complement of temples, animal farms and tasty restaurants. Just avoid this hotel.

i emailed ahead to reserve a specific room, but when i arrived, they had not reserved the room for me. but nice, they upgraded me for free to another room. appreciated. room is nice, but hotel pool is very small. and no sunshine after 12.00 noon, blocked by building.

Decent hotel for the price. The location was very good, walking distance to the Old City area with many shops and restaurants.

This hotel is just totally average, the room is decent if you don't mind a bathroom full of ants (which is not uncommon in Chiang Mai).I was in the old building so it was climb to the fourth floor everyday for the 3 days I was there. The breakfast buffet was, again,ok,nothing great but good enough. They have a small swimming pool in the new building right in front of the restaurant which I found somewhat odd.The rooms have a room service menu but the restaurant was only open for breakfast,I called several times but no answer. The price is a bit high for what you get but I can only speak to the old building,I have no idea what the rooms are like in the new building.

spacous room with important amenity, free mini bar and welcome dring at lobby bar, not so far from Chiang Mai gate.

The good -- rooms are comfortable, beautiful and the hotel is convenient to the old city and shopping. Great prices available online. Very clean & nicely appointed rooms. The not so good -- Internet is spotty to non-existent in the rooms (I was on the third floor in the adjacent "superior rooms" building.) While the hotel is an easy walk to the old city and night market, there is nothing in the immediate area. The shopping arcade has a nice coffee shop and an overpriced Japanese restaurant, so your options are pretty limited. Bottom line -- a great stopover location if you are just arriving or leaving town, but if you are planning on spending time in the old city, there are better options. (Note: Lack of reliable internet a big deal for me.)

For this price, I am sure you will not find any better place. The location is also good, about 5 minutes walk from the old city. The stuff is very nice and helpful, they let me leave my baggage while went trekking, and afterwards I even got a welcome-fruitplate for coming back there for a night more!

i was happy with the hotel and the location was good

The hotel is ok. There is a lot of room. It's like a one 1 bedroom, not a studio. The bathroom is pretty old. Anyway for the money it's great.

This is a very average mid-class property in a good location. Rooms in new building a bit nicer but too small and a little drab. Odd room layout with wasted space due to a divider. Water not hot enough, and the hotel never followed through with assistance. Place is decent, but I would have liked more room, better natural light, and a friendlier staff.

This hotel was in a fantastic location. It is a simple nice hotel. Nice staff. Value is awesome. I extended my stay, twice.

Can't beat it for the location and price! It's between the Night market and the walled center city of Chiang Mai. Easy walking distance to both.

Having spent only one night at this hotel, it's hard to give a fair and full review. It was very good value, clean and fairly comfortable, and the breakfast was generous. Not sure it's worth 4 stars!

This is a 'just Ok' hotel with no striking features worth of highlighting... We got a fairly large room off the main building in some outdated facilities, with no elevator, old furniture and very poor lighting. Included breakfast was varied and the service just ok...

Walking distance to night market, beds were eXtra firm...staff helpful, jaccuzzi was not really a jaccuzzi, Sauna not working, buffet breakfast was great.

great overall experience. Location, Buffett breakfasts opening times, facilities, complimentary drinks and water, airport shuttle expensive if traveling single, free wifi totally hopeless due surrounding businesses; but they provide computers. Was checked in at 9.30, though check in should be at 3 pm.!!!!! THANK YOU.

This hotel is very enjoyable. Great service and great breakfast buffet. Only a few things could have improved our stay. The ac was very noisy, no safe inside the room but in the lobby and the door key to the room very old style (key entrance instead of card entry). Great place overall. Quiet and non smoking in the whole property.
