A lovely hotel and quiet when we were there. It's a little distance from the Old Town - which is both good and bad, taxis were only about 300ThBhat. Central pool is shallow and a little too cold for us, friendly service and great breakfast. Hotel ran a free shuttle bus into town although we didn't use it. Worth checking out deals when you book.
This hotel offers two tyes of accommodation: (1) Spacious rooms on two-storey buildings mostly surrounded by the swmming pool - rooms on the lower floors open straight to the swimming pool, and (2) beautiful villas come with their own respective plunge pool. Seven of us stayed in three rooms of this hotel for three nights. We selected to stay on the upper floor but all the rooms still offer a very good view of the lovely swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and each of them is equiped with a jacuzzi and a shower with a system allowing you to choose either having water coming down from the top or jet-streaming from three direction on to your body, or using both system simultaneously. A mode of serene would immediately decend on to you while going to your accommodation through the well landscaped paths covered by large old trees. Breakfast is sufficiently good and delicious.
We went there because a friend suggested us and when we arrived he told us: welcome to paradise! And it was!!! Wonderful room (with proper bathroom and amazing shower and spa bath), amazing view from the balcony and fabulous lagoon swimming pool, with bar within the pool! Must order a drink on the pool (they are very cheap if compared with prices in London) and the spa: thai massage is absolutely the best one!!!
We had a swim out lagoon pool room. The resort is small but lovely. The pool is sensational! The staff is overly helpful, kind and accommodating. It is extremely easy to book reasonable tours onsite. We found Mr. Chalermpong Saeyang from the tour desk highly knowledgeable, efficient and engaging. If you want a funny, knowledgeable, safe and kind driver for the day who knows all the ins and outs request Mr. Pichate Udomwong (PJ). There were local restaurants, nail salons ,ATM within easy walking distance. The onsite restaurant served a lovely breakfast daily, included in our rate. We also sampled dinner and room service which were all very yummy. My son and I hope to return someday! Thank you for the beautiful memories!
I booked here 3 nights as a treat after having stayed 5 weeks in uncomfortable accommodation in Cambodia. Right from the very entrance of this hotel I was impressed both aesthetically and by the level of attention provided by the staff. The gardens are lush, tropical and beautiful which feature hung lanterns and lit sculptures which are illuminated in the evening. I had a poolside room which literally meant that I could just step into the pool from my ground level balcony. When I saw my room ( after I'd been helped with my luggage and my attendant had left).... I did two happy dances out of sheer excitement and pleasure 😊 The bathroom had a beautiful modern deep large spa bath and also a multi jetted shower. The bed and linen were divine. Plenty of cupboards and surfaces to put my gear. Good size TV. Room Service food and promptness of delivery surprised me every time. Breakfast was a feast at the restaurant each morning. A vast choice of delicious options to satisfy anyone I also booked a package at the Hotel Spa which was fantastic and professional through and through. I was having such a great time that I splurged and treated myself to a 4th night.... even after that I didn't really want to leave. Special note regarding all the staff... everyone of them smiling and going out of their way to greet me even if I'd never had contact with them before. Truly lovely people who made me feel very special.
We visited Chiangmai in July and booked in to Khum Paya Resort .it was an amazing experience to enjoy hospitality, Spa, food and cultural evening .the place was so clean and very safe .our room was next to the pool which we enjoyed .there was no noise or music around to disturb you .staff were all very warm and helpful .they have unique style of being softly spoken and greeting guests .loved it ....
We can't get over how gorgeous this place was. From the grounds that were incredible to the very accommodating staff to the beautiful rooms, we loved it all! The breakfast buffet was one of the biggest we have ever seen. And the pool was beautiful as well and we could walk out our back door and step into it. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. We would come back in a minute!
just spent 8 great days here the staff are the best thy make you fell like you are the only one there from the front desk to the garden staff if you treat them like the people they are not your own slave them you will get the same back this is the second time i have be here in 12 months and have made some great friend here and l hope long time ones will miss them all till i go back in 18 months
Beautiful small Balinese type style resort hidden by lush tropical foliage surrounding a nice pool only 15 minutes from Chiang Mai airport. The room was small but nice and the shower was good. If we were to stay here again we would choose a room on the lower level directly facing the pool. There were mosquito repellents inside and outside the room which was a bit unsettling but we had no real issues with mosquitoes. The breakfast buffet provided was just OK. Cocktails served at the bars were weak and we had to complain more than once. There were serious issues with the WiFi during our entire stay as it worked only sometimes but not always and kept dropping out. The bath towels provided were simply worn and disgusting and looked like they were 20 years old. When we asked for replacement towels they were in the same shape even some with holes in the middle. Overall very nice property but serious management lack of concern for the detail.
This resort is a beautiful relaxing place. Not far from the chiang mai night bazaar ( 15 min or so) and they offer a free shuttle 3 times per day. Pool is lovely. Room is great with nice patio. Unique property and close enough to walk to some stores if you need something. I would definitely stay here again. Staff very nice and you receive a nice welcome tea drink and refreshing towel.
