Staff was friendly.The room was comfortable and spacious, with a medium sized private balcony. Location was convenient for my needs at the time (next to a friend's place). On a major roadway but outside of main town. Building showed some signs of wear (like cracked tiles and worn corners), but nothing that mattered. Everything worked, including the wifi, cable TV, hot shower/bathtub.

Business hotel, basic service

This is obviously primarily aimed at Thai business people in Chiang Mai. But the staff went out of their way to accommodate and help an American tourist staying there because I was visiting a friend who lived nearby. They were very gracious and helpful.

Choose the B2 Mountain view if you have a choice..

I understand I should learn to speak the native tongue... and most of the language barriers are my issue. However, I also expect a hotel service to understand simple requests. The staff hardly smiles at all and doesn't seem too keen on being of service. The room is very clean. It does however have a few dents and chips, in fact quite a surprising amount considering this is not a very old location. There are a couple of restaurants near by with night life that you will hear. If you do decide to stay here make sure you get a room on the opposite side of the main street as you will hear the traffic going by all night.
