Escape to our cozy log cabin on Potato Lake in Chetek, WI, where you can relax and unwind. This inviting retreat features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The lower-level living room has two futons, perfect hangout for the kiddos. Enjoy serene moments on the deck overlooking the lake or gather around the newly updated fire pit in the evening. If you’re lucky, you might see the Northern Lights!

The open kitchen makes meal prep easy, or you can fire up the grill on the deck. If you prefer to dine out, the Lured In next door offers a full menu and bar. Plus, with a public boat launch just a short distance away, you can use our dock to tie up. Try your luck at catching the elusive Muskie or explore the lake and visit one of the four nearby bars on Potato Lake. With a spacious, flat yard, you’re welcome to enjoy our yard games or start a lively game of wiffle ball!

Potato Lake can turn green during certain times of the year, and there is no beach area. Swimming from the dock may not be ideal, but the water clears up as you venture deeper. It's perfect for boating and fishing. You can take advantage of our kayaks and paddle boards to reach the nearby island for a relaxing adventure.

FABULOUS stay!!!

Our family stayed here for Memorial Day weekend and we absolutely loved our accommodations!! The home was immaculate, cozy, and the owners thought of everything that we could possibly need for our stay!! The kids enjoyed playing “capture the flag” in the yard, we enjoyed family conversation and roasting s’mores around the bonfire in the evenings, and the kitchen was perfect for serving family dinners!! The beds were also extremely comfortable and we all got good rest while staying here. Communication was great with the owners and they definitely went above and beyond. They even have the cutest little book nook upstairs with amazing books! I highly recommend this property and we truly can’t wait to come back and stay here again!!
