Rental season: June 1st-October 15th. Welcome to Lake Almanor West! Come stay at our vintage 1977 cabin on the water and enjoy our simple mountain retreat! After a day of golfing at the Lake Almanor West golf course, or boating on the lake, you can enjoy all the peace and tranquility a lakefront property affords you, while grilling on the patio. Enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with the Pacific Crest Trail, and Lassen Volcanic National Park in proximity. There is a boat dock for use throughout your stay, and for watching spectacular sunsets. This excellent property boasts 4 bedrooms, including 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, 1 bunk bed, 1 full bed, and 1 twin bed. With 2 bathrooms equipped with showers, guests will find their stay here tremendously comfortable. Enjoy the soothing ambiance of this cabin, complete with WiFi and a washing machine for convenience. Smart TV, no cable, free Starlink internet access. Downstairs is well appointed for ease of use: open concept floor plan, dining table seats six, fireplace and wood stove, board games, washer/dryer. Kitchen: Electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, waffle maker, toaster, microwave, hot water kettle, knife set, basic spices.
General: No HVAC or ceiling fans, no landscaping. There are electric fans in each room to help circulate air on warm days. Sheets and towels are available for use. Stairs are required for access from both entryways. Parking for four cars, with drive through for boat or golf cart trailers. There is a wood deck and cement patio with outdoor seating for ten. Gas barbeque plus built in charcoal grill. We hope you enjoy what our place and Chester has to offer.

Bring your bathing suit everything else is provided!

We have never been to Lake Almador and it is now on the list! We had a long weekend up with family from all over the US and we really enjoyed the quiet lake (week before the 4th) and the amenities it provided. This property has everything you need for BBQ (including propane) and water fun (paddle board and kayak). The kitchen is well equipped and linens is well stocked. We are looking forward to another visit to Lake Almador.
