House fit our needs but felt like it needed better maintaining. Many doors didn’t open to the outside. Leaves were everywhere. We had to sweep and clean off the outdoor furniture and porch to make it usable. Downstairs basement had a strong chemical smell and pool table was very small.

We recently stayed at this property for a long weekend with our family, and overall, it was a mixed experience.What We Liked:The house is quite spacious, which was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own room, and it never felt cramped. The location was very convenient, especially since it's close to where we live. Sophia, the host, was kind and mostly responsive before and during our stay. What Was Disappointing: Unfortunately, there was a strong sewage odor on the second floor that was impossible to ignore. The dishwasher was broken. Also, several lights throughout the house didn’t work, both interior and exterior ones, which made it impossible to enjoy amenities like the hot tub in the evening hours. Contrary to the listing, the fireplace doesn’t work. There were no tissues in the house, hooks in any bathrooms or waste paper baskets in the bedrooms, which made things inconvenient. The oven wasn’t working properly. We reached out to the host about the wintry conditions and icy driveway and were told that someone would come by to salt, but they never did. While the house was clean, it has much room for improvements in every area. Many parts were run down and dated. I would look elsewhere unless serious upgrades are made to this rental.

The house had a terrible smell upstairs of sewer the entire time we complained, but nothing changed. There was no hot tub towels. We had to use our bath towels for the hot tub. The kitchen did not have a can opener blender or oven mitts, refrigerator was leaking water all onto the fruit and veggies. We had to sop up water and everyone had to stop using the dispenser out the front of the fridge. The stove top only three burners worked. No rug by the door when you come in so snow and wet was everywhere. The soap dispensers had water put in them so basically they looked like they were full . When we first walked in the house smelled of curry and was disgusting cabinet doors stuck to the cabinet when you tried to open them because of sticky Yuck stuff on them the kitchen floor was disgusting the oven the whole wall behind the stove, the kitchen was a nasty mess. Lamps didn’t work no lightbulbs dust everywhere had to have the cleaners come back and clean that night. We checked in. The amenities downstairs were half broken and did not work. This house was not as pictured. The smell alone was soo disgusting.
