We had a nice room adjacent to the office on the ground floor. We were just a few steps away from the pool and hot tub. The room was very nice and comfortable. The staff was also very courteous and helpful.

Booked online while working in the area. Check in was a breeze, the room was nice, the bed comfortable and everything was clean. The people working the front desk were very nice and helpful. I liked it so much that I drove 30 minutes back to stay here the next night when work ran later than expected.

We stayed one night while visiting the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountain National Park with our grandkids. Very disappointed with our stay. There were several things that were less than quality. The air conditioner in our room did not work. When my husband reported it the next morning the only response he received was “Well did you call maintenance?” No we’re sorry for the inconvenience or we’ll look into getting it fixed. We didn’t call maintenance because we had just gotten two very tired kids settled down to bed when we realized it and didn’t want to wake them. In addition to the air conditioner, the deadbolt wouldn’t engage. My husband finally lifted the door so the deadbolt could slide in. There are about 50+ rooms at this hotel and they have 6 tables for breakfast. One thing our grandkids love on our vacations is time in the pool. Both the hot tub and pool were discussing and covered in mold. The entire hotel smelled musty. I’ve included photos of the pool- gross!

Where doI start: staying on the lower level you will feel the dampness of your room immediately—much like an old wet basement. Next you will notice the BiG red message light flashing on the phone that will not shut off... front desk solution- “throw a towel over it!” Pull back the bed coverlet and we discovered a what appears to be a “CONDOM WRAPPER” - WTF. We tried to go to sleep - only to be awakened by loud talkfest in the neighboring room - two calls to front desk — no help - somewhere around 12:30 we did finally hear sound of silence. Mike is apparently the manager — want to log a complaint? do not expect this guy to call you back— at least for that last five days - and yes, I called him everyday! Oh.. what a return call would have done! The back entrance... is a storage room for hundred boxes of leaflets.. also they use them to hold the doors open.. stylish to them, I suppose. Do not stay here ... spend your money with the local boutique hotel/motel. The owners, Patel’s.. and based on outward appearance that they just don’t care! Stay away... you have been warned.

Stopped early in season Swimming pool closed as decorators around hotel working. Weather was hot so would have been nice to have a swim. Aversge room and breakfast. If booking ask for river view it you will get a cat park view. Plenty to see and do around area.

Very impressed with the sanitation rating of 99.5. Inside and outside of hotel was impressive. The only problem was the noise. Thin doors and walls. Our room was next to the office and we were awakened by drawers slamming. Breakfast was just average. Office clerks friendly and helpful. Very good price.

No problems had to get clean comforter at check in, stains on it yuck. Electronic sockett was broken but all in all not too bad. It's in a good location close to shops and food. In this case you get what ya pay for!

We booked a trip on and ye it was non refundable however we had a death in the family and VIVIAN will not allow us to move the reservation we called TODAY and she said NO NO NO and then we called and they tried and Vivian told them NON NO NO. we asked to move the dates to 2 different weekends and she still said NONONONO well

The hotel is clean. The inside is a little dated. Breakfast area is small and can get busy, but well kept. The women behind the desk in the afternoon has an attitude and for some reason doesn’t wear a company shirt or anything that indicates she works for the hotel. The lady in the morning just isn’t going to go over and above. My WiFi would not connect in the room, she gave me a phone number to call their tech support. Needless to say I didn’t do her job for her.

Room was very clean thanks to Rosa. 2 queen bed room with a view of the parking lot. #235. Beds were very comfortable. Room was nice overall. Staff was very helpful and pleasure to work with. Only thing that would have been better would have been on the river side. If you want a quieter room I would suggest not staying in a room on the parking lot side
