Classic mom pop motor inn. On a busy highway a quarter mile from junction with 256 which suited our itinerary. Room was well cared for, coffee and pastry offered in the morning a pleasant surprise outside the normal motor inn experience. The unexpected came 10 minutes after check in with the arrival of six rooms of guests on motorcycles. Took over the terrace with loud music and revelry. Interacted with us appropriately when we continued to sit in our rockers. Wore themselves out by 10 pm. But the room was a great value. Would recommend.

The Laurel Park Inn is a family owned and operated Inn on the east side of Maggie Valley. The folks are friendly & the rooms are clean. It's not state of the art, because it's been there a while, so if you expect all of the fixtures to be updated, a plastic room key, & the floor to be perfectly level, you will be disappointed. But the room is clean, water was hot, bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was great. The recommendation for a local place for dinner was outstanding. Thanks for a nice stay!
