my wife and i had gone to chennai for some medical purpose.. it was then that we visited this amazing hotel... we had gone to have dinner in one of its restro UP NORTH... it served only north indian foods and it was delicious... we thoroughly enjoyed our meals.. the staff were also polite.. we had a good time together...
Very good service..clean & nice hotel! a kind of strategic location for us to move around Chennai... Easy to get Uber ride as well.. Sadly I could not taste their lounge due to some new govt rules on alcohol selling premises
The stay was extremely enjoyable, thanks to the wonderful services offered by the very hospitable and friendly staff at the hotel. The restaurant was really good, with amazing food and extremely professional staff. Special thanks to Mr.Harish the manager,Ms. Joyeta the hostess, and servers Mr.Martin, Mr. Diphing, Mr.Chandon and Ms.Thangam for making our experience at the restaurant an extremely enjoyable one.
We hosted our daughter's wedding at the hotel and accommodated all our guests there in April 2018. Everyone enjoyed a comfortable stay and raved about the excellent food. All our guests were impressed with the high standards of service rendered by the hotel, its concierge, housekeeping and restaurant staff. It is evident the hotel ensures all its staff are well trained and provide quality service and amenities akin to that of any international 5-star franchise. Thank you for making this a memorable event!! Well done!!!
Stayed here for two nights while on a business trip to the city. The booking was done through booking.com. There is a new GST tax, which is not showing in booking.com till you complete the booking. The GST tax is around 18% i guess. Please be aware of it. Spoke to the hotel 2 days before arrival for a early check-in, which was immediately confirmed. Reached the hotel around 11am and the room was ready. The check-in was smooth and quick. The lobby is very simple and the uniform for the staff is simpler. But the service in the hotel is good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is on a side of a busy road. So it is difficult to cross the road or to get a taxi or auto from the road. Uber works well in Chennai and that is the best way to get around. I did not see any shops or hotels nearby. You will need to hire a cab if you need something. There are two or three restaurants in the hotel. There is also a roof top pub and swimming pool. Both the pool and the pub are very small. The breakfast is very good. There will be something for everyone. Being in Chennai, you need to try the south Indian specialties like dosa, idly, pongal, poori etc. They also have good meeting rooms in the basement and a lounge that you can hire for meetings on the 9th floor. Excellent service and will sure return. Will not hesitate to recommend for anyone. But don't expect the excesses and luxury of a real 5 star hotel.
We stayed 3 weeks in the hotel.. our room situated on 6th.The hotel is located in the midst of the hustle and bustle of T-nagar & Annasalai, but once you enter the hotel it is very relaxing and quite.Although the hotel is mostly geared towards business traveler, the relaxing ambiance & comforts makes it equally good for leisure travelers too.The rooms are very clean & nice and have all the amenities expected in 4/5 stars categories hotel. The mainhighlight of the hotel is their excellent & delicious breakfast buffet!! and their restaurant staff. The staff in the restaurant are very friendly, polite & professional staff. We would like to mention and extend our grateful thank you to the following hotel staff, who did more than their best to assist and make our stay one of the most memorable and amazing experience we have had in the last couple of years while staying in different hotels across different continents Mr. Harish- FB Manager ‘the kitchen’ restaurant. Ms Joyeta from 'The Kitchen' restaurant A special mention goes to Mr Harish who made our daily breakfast an unforgettable amazing experience. The staff here are all very friendly and ready to help and assist in all aspect of your stay. At the entrance of the hotel the bell boys are so polite and passionate about their jobs that they make you feel like a king whenever you come back to this hotel.
Had wonderful long stay.Pleasant staff always ready to help is highlight. Love this place, will definitely revisit. Food was really amazing, thanks to Harish Kannan for customised food, services are overwhelming. overall a very good experience and highly recommendable.
3rd time here, although minor issues, overall good satay. minibar temperature was too hot, surely a fridge can offer the basics of cooling. i don't see the need to have so many people at the front of the hotel and have the pressure of having to tip them and they trying to offer a service that's not necessary, i.e i dont need 3 people to open three doors on a car sat down on the first day ( 5 day stay) for breakfast and no one was their to set us to a table or tell us about what food stations there were, so we sat down ourselves - no one came to ask us for cofee etc, then some european couple walk in and 3 staff members ran to their aide ... i hope you can educate your staff that this backward thinking will just detract people from coming back. you have a good hotel, just dont ruin it with having ill informed staff. all though reception staff and lobby staff/manager was extremely helpful and awesome!
The hotel definitely deserves the high rating it has here. 1. The location is just perfect - not too crowded but still close to most places one would want to get to. Easy enough for Uber/Ola drivers to know so its very easy to commute on your own. 2. The hotel and the rooms are very well maintained. A lot of natural light in the rooms definitely helps make it look fresh. 3. The staff is very efficient and friendly. 4. The restaurants are all very good and the food is really good. One drawback I had travelling on a personal trip - the restaurants are unreasonably high considering the room tariffs. This forces people to eat most of their meals outside. If they were to make their food rates reasonably priced for hotel guests, am sure they would retain a lot of that business. Ask for a room on a higher floor else you could have some traffic noise.
Even though the hotel is located in the midst of the hustle and bustle of T-nagar & Annasalai, once you enter the hotel it is very relaxing and quite. Although its well suited for the business traveler, the relaxing ambiance & comforts makes it equally good for leisure travelers too. The hotel overall is clean & hygienic. The rooms are very clean & nice and have all the amenities expected in a star class hotel room. The highlight of the hotel is their excellent & delicious breakfast buffet!! The spread is wide ranging with a menu to suite every palate. We especially thoroughly enjoyed the excellent patisseries. With their friendly, polite & professional staff and excellent food, there's no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone and would certainly love to come back.
