This Resort is a huge property, covering such a large area that you are taken to your room in a golf buggy, and the buggies are available to take you from area to area. I am so glad we were given a map to find our way around the place!! Our room was spotless, large and well appointed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room connected with another room (luckily we knew the people next door, as my husband tried to open the door and was let into their room - he came out the back of the property from their room and scared me lol). The bathroom was big - the bathtub was the size of a small spa. We had a nice patio and lawn area at the rear of our room, which was nice, except for the noise from the "calls to prayer" which came from the area directly behind us and happened very early in the morning. I loved the swimming pool - quite the challenge to do laps as it was very long! Food was plentiful and beautifully prepared - all meal styles were catered for - you could even order a pizza! We were there while a wedding was taking place near the beach end of the property, so enjoyed watching the lively dancing, the colours and the joy of such a beautiful occasion. It is a nice place to walk both sides of the streets of the town and look at some of the shops. There is a small supermarket on the lefthand side where you can buy nibblies and bits and pieces. The people are very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting to a lot of the locals. Thank you for a lovely stay - would definitely recommend. India is such an amazing country!!

I stayed there for 4 night .Resort is in good area and out of city from noise and pollution .All the staff are very energetic and highly dedicated towards Guest .Food is excellent and spa is very clean and good staffs.Overall satisfied with the value for money that we paid.

Its indeed a great property. The only drawback is the rooms :|. I was staying in the villa and we had three rooms. Two rooms on the ground floor had bath tubs inside the room. Some people might find it fancy but i really disliked that. The entire room looked more like an extended washroom with a bed instead of a proper well arranged room. Apart from the sea facing rooms, i wouldnt recommend any other rooms.

I have been to Radisson BLU Resort Temple Bay many a times before and I must say this was probably one of the less satisfying trip. I don't know if it was because it was a weekend. I have never stayed during weekends here before. We stayed in a Garden View Chalet, the view was nice and the rooms were spacious and the buffet breakfast was good as always. Here are a few things which put me off. 1. You shouldn't be asking for water 3 times at every instance. This was at Waters Edge Cafe during dinner. Why don't you just leave the jug there if you are going to take your own sweet time to serve. 2 Power situation needs to be addressed although it runs on Generator most of the time, every time it switches you lose connectivity with the TV, wifi etc. We have to wait till it gets connected again. 3. They called around 11 asking when I was planning to check out. I told them that I will check out by 11.45 and would need a Buggy by then. I had to call again but there was no sight. So we walked down and took the buggy midway. 4. There used to be a nice Locker Room + Shower Area near the Infinity Pool. Now it has been converted into Bodhi or Ayush spa. Not very pleased with this change either. I think I choose a wrong day because this has not been my experience in the past.

We stayed here for three nights during a tour of Southern India. It was a marvellous place to rest & unwind. The hotel staff were lovely- friendly, helpful and kind but also professional in their work. The food in the restaurant was good, the rooms very spacious and comfortable although the air conditioning was a bit fierce. However it was over 30C outside! The hotel pool is much bigger than most hotel pools with lovely gardens around it. The beach and the Indian ocean are a short stroll from the hotel and the village of Mamallapuram is also within walking distance though the heat & the traffic might put people off - take a tut-tuk instead ! The village has wonderful historical buildings to visit like the Shore Temple - very worthwhile. We were lucky enough to be invited to join in an Indian wedding being held at the hotel - one of the highlights of our stay in India! It was an amazing array of colour, music and hospitality !

The best resort in place for a relaxing holiday. Very courteous staff, nice pools, the best restaurant to treat your taste buds. A very relaxing spa experience & on the whole value for money.Really nice experience.

We were on a group tour and the room that we were given was quite large. Isle Villa or #403 had a living area, half bath with full bedroom and huge bathroom with sunken tub. Biggest indoor tub I've ever seen!!! Plus it has a separate room that was vacant which also fronted onto a lovely green area with patio and chairs. This room was just a short walk from the large pool that flowed throughout the front of the property. Also very convenient to the main restaurant and one of the bars. It was a long walk from the beach, the seafood restaurant and the second pool, however there are golf carts roaming around if you need a ride. The pool area is surrounded by lovely tropical plants as well as lots of blooming plumeria. The beach, gardens and second pool area was a beautiful setting for an extravagant wedding that was being celebrated while we were there. I would recommend it if you are going to be

Much enjoyed my stay following a busy tour. Excellent swimming pool facilities, beautiful gardens, good food and service, made it the ideal place to stay for relaxation and peace. Close to the ancient Shore Temples complex which are well worth a visit, and the colourful little town of Mamallapuram, a short tuk tuk ride away.

It is a costly hotel but very good property in about 58 acres of land. I booked sea View Chalet which was much more than expectations. everything about this hotel is awesome. full points to this resort.
