The hotel is stunning in its presentation. A work of art. The intricate details in its particularly Chinese decor are quite stunning in their elegance. The staff are great and friendly. The breakfast buffet, out of this world. Highly, highly recommend.

On the way from the airport I was exhausted and looking forward to talking a nap and bath after arriving to the hotel. When I entered my room it was very hot. The thermostat was set the 22°, but it was showing 25° in the room. l assumed the AC was off and turned on shortly before I arrived and just needed time to cool off. So I turned it down to 18° and took a walk to get something to eat. When I returned it was 26° in the room. I went to the lobby to complain and found another couple who were five floors away having the same problem. We both then realized it was a general problem with and not an issue with our rooms particularly. Several people came to the room to check the AC but had no solutions. My last visit was from the manager on duty who was very apologetic but offered no concessions for my inconvenience or suffering. One of them did bring back a fan which enabled me to get some sleep, after outside temperatures cooled off at night. For the course of my stay the thermostat in the room stayed on 26°. So, if 26° is warmer than you prefer, you better find another hotel. I assume this wouldn't be an issue in the winter months.

Hotel is located in a quiet area, 5 to 10 mins by foot to Jinjiang Hotel metro station. Bonus, the room comes with a massage chair, perfect after a long day of sightseeing & walking. 100% recommend.

We had a great experience! Having stayed at other high-end hotels in Chengdu, the Wanda Reign property exceeded my expectations. Beautiful room with a well thought out and functional layout, massage chair, good views, fantastic service from the staff, and a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options.
