My Chengdu Basecamp

Very close to a busy shopping area but also smaller traditional restaurants to get your fill of sichuan style food. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean. I booked one night and then the next three days traveled to Emeishan and returned for another night before leaving Chengdu. During those three nights, they were kind enough to hold my luggage until I got back. Great stay.

Best value for your money

One of the best hotels (serviced apartments) I stayed for around EUR 40. The location is pretty central, minutes walk from Taikoo Li. The service was good, they let me print a few pages for free and delivered my 9 x 6 kg boxes in my hotel room. The only thing that could be improved is the shared area on the 8th floor where the 2 PCs didn't work and the gym only has 2 treadmills (1 was not working) and another equipment for back/chest. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Chengdu.

Great place to stay in Chengdu

This place is totally beyond my expectation. It is very clean and well maintained. The location is perfect if you want to get close access to the city center and best traditional restaurants.

Pleasant Hotel in walking distance to MTR, etc...

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Clean, Roomy, Friendly and helpful, great neighborhood with many things nearby for convenience--including a Starbucks a short walk. There was a W/D if you needed it as well. Loved the small Balcony.

Excellent value hotel in nice part of chengdu

We have stayed at a few hotels in Chengdu but this is easily the best value for money. The staff don't speak much English, except Bobby the manager who speaks it fluently. And it is perhaps a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station. But it is in a great area for local Sichuan cuisine, just across the road from the main shopping district in the city and the rooms are about a tenth of the price of other nice hotels like the temple house and the niccolo and really the room is great, perhaps only lacking a slightly more comfortable bed and the atmosphere you get in hotels with bars and restaurants. Everything was spotless though, as though we were the first guests, loads of storage space for our luggage and the room was really well outfitted. Would definitely recommend!

Convenient location and very friendly staff

Very friendly staff, the location is very convenient and close to every thing you need. The room is very clean although it is not big. The washing machine is very useful if you stay long or with kids. It would be better to have a microwave in the room so could make some easy breakfast or reheat some foods. Then it makes more sense to call it serviced apartment.
