The apartment was clean, tastefully decorated with good quality amenities and a powerful shower. The Wi-fi signal was not v strong and kept dropping out, and a couple of the apps on the smart tv did not work.

Once you’re inside the apartment, everything is perfect. Stylish, clean and comfortable. Great attention to detail including the provision of fresh milk and water in the fridge which is very thoughtful. All furniture is of high quality including the coffee machine and sound system. Having said that, I was very frustrated by the impersonal nature of the communication, and the numerous complicated instructions that preceded the check in, and I wasn’t a fan of having to download a separate App in order to be able to access to the property for one night. One important detail that is not mentioned on Expedia is the NUMEROUS stairs that you need to climb. Narrow and steep, it can take up to 3-4 mins to get to your flat and if you have luggage, you’ll need strong knees and arms. Also not advertised is the cost of parking which needs to be pre_booked and costs a fortune. I was able to park for free on the street (20:00-8:00am is free).

Great location and parking (£12.50 a night) one minute walk away from accommodation. Could see issues as you need to download app to add all your details and then email sent separate to complete parking which felt like a chore. Would stay again as felt high end especially the bed but I did stay Sun- Tues so extremely quiet.

Spacious

The room was a very generous size, with a large comfy bed and a large delightful window. The kitchenette was equipped with brew facilities, a fridge, complete with fresh milk and water (which i hadn't expected). Location was ideal for me and close to town amenities. And had the option of parking if required. My only criticism was the noise of the doors closing with a bang. It woke me up a couple of times.

The location is excellent, right in town. We used the Mansley car park, which is well priced, so it meant a car free weekend. The bathroom is very well appointed, with a great shower and sparkling clean. The kitchenette area was useful and the room size is spacious. Downside, soundproofing between floors is not great and although they were not noisy, we could hear the people upstairs walking on the floor, their telephone conversations and were woken up by phone alarm (7:30 am Sunday).

The communication with the manager was excellent. You are able to park in a secure car park using a code. The room is probably the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The location was excellent, especially for the racecourse, and near excellent restaurants and the town centre. A*
