A sudeley castle cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The Sudeley Castle Estate includes a collection of charming Cotswold holiday properties, all a few minutes' walk from the centre of historic Winchcombe and Sudeley Castle & Gardens. These include beautifully renovated ancient buildings, such as a paper mill, an old forge and 18th-century workers' cottages, to new cottages built in distinctive Cotswold stone. Sudeley Castle itself features 10 magnificent gardens, each with its own unique design. Surrounded by striking views of the Cotswold countryside, each garden reflects the fascinating 1000-year history of the Castle and includes a Knot Garden, Queen's Garden and Tudor Physic Garden.

Anne Boleyn forms part of a small terrace between Queen Mary and Lord High Admiral and features a well-equipped open plan kitchen/dining area, a spacious living room and an outdoor seating area with countryside views.

Ground Floor
Entrance Hall/Dining Area/Kitchen:
Guests enter Anne Boleyn Cottage through the covered front door into the open plan kitchen/dining area which is light and airy. A feature timber-framed doorway leads from the kitchen/dining area into the living room. There are two shallow steps in this spacious room, which features a large two-seater sofa, two comfy arch chairs, a coffee table, occasional tables and a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and French doors out to the seating area.

First Floor
Bedroom One:
The main bedroom is entered via a large dressing area with a wardrobe and dressing table. Exposed timbers create a division into the bedroom which is down two shallow steps. The double bed has bedside tables on either side and touch-dim bedside lamps, and a pretty window with countryside views.

Bedroom Two:

Super pre-Christmas break.

Super cottage, equipped with everything one needs for a perfect break. A Christmas tree already lit up in the corner of the sitting room, on arrival, was a lovely touch.

Fabulous!

This was a fabulous cottage within a group of cottages in a courtyard setting. The cottage was spaceous, very clean and has everything that you could possibly need - and is just a few minutes walk into the centre of beautiful Winchcombe. The cottage and the whole are is really dog friendly and we can't wait to return - just brilliant!

Lovely area

Found the info for access a bit difficult , easy when you know how. Cottage was of a good size and clean. Although a bit basic considering what it cost for 3 nights. A bonus to get into the castle though.

Relaxed

We did have a little difficulty finding where the property was located, and there wasn’t anyone around to help us to get in. Apparently we should have been given a code, but hadn’t received it. However, this was the only down side to this wonderful little cottage, very clean, with the most comfortable of beds. It had everything that we could have needed. Very good parking area. This was important to me as we had 2 cars due to travelling from different locations to meet up. Free entry to Sudeley Castle was an added bonus! I would definitely recommend anyone to come and stay in one of these beautiful cottages in a very beautiful part of the country!
