The quiet city of Sarnia lies on the border separating Michigan and Ontario. The city is between the majestic Lake Huron and Lake St. Clair to its south. The city has parks with wild areas like the Lakeport State Park, and you can go to the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area as well to see some of the area s wildlife. The Blue Water Bridge is located in Sarnia, and it is an enormous blue structure separating Canada from the United States that crosses over Lake Huron.
In Sarnia, you ll be able to take your kids to the Children's Animal Farm located on Lake Chipican Drive. The farm is covered in beautiful flowers from the area, and the children will be able to see cows, ducks, donkeys and sheep throughout the farm. If you re a sports fanatic, you can head to the 2,300-seated Sarnia Arena to watch the Sarnia Legionnaires Canadian junior ice hockey team play a home game. The arena also has a public swimming pool as well as an ice skating rink.
