Paducah

Situated at the confluence of the Tennessee and Ohio Rivers, Paducah's history is interwoven with events from the Colonial era through the Civil War to the Civil Rights Movement. Major points of interest in Paducah include the larger-than-life murals along the 2nd Street Flood Wall, the William Clark Market House Museum and Whitehaven, a 1860s-era mansion that serves as the Welcome Center. When you fly to Paducah, tour the National Quilt Museum and the Yeiser Art Center. You can also enjoy concerts, plays and other theatrical productions at the Luther F. Carson Performing Arts Center.

Barkley Regional Airport (PAH) is located 14 miles to the west of Paducah. Interstate 24 is a major east and west thoroughfare that passes through the city. Paducah has a humid, subtropical climate that produces summer highs in the upper 80s and winter averages that hover below freezing. Annual events include the Quilt Show, the Summer Festival and the LowerTown Arts and Music Festival.
