Your flight to Edinburgh will land at Edinburgh Airport, which is located about 8 miles west of the city center on the A8. The easiest way to get into the city during the day is aboard the Airlink 100 Express bus, which drops you off at the Waverly train station. The ride takes 25 minutes and costs £3.50. If you are flying in after midnight, you can take the N22 bus, which costs £3. Metered taxis are also available. The ride to the city center takes about 25 minutes, and the fare is about £25.
