You'll also be surrounded by several freshwater ponds, with Emery Pond, White Pond, Perch Pond, and Lover's Lake all within half a mile of the home.



Inside, the home offers plenty of room for up to eight guests, with comfortable living spaces for spending time together. The first floor features a living room, spacious sunroom, eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. One bedroom has a queen bed, while the other has two twin beds. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms—one with a king bed and another with two twin beds—along with a second full bathroom with a shower. Clean, Close and Comfortable

We rented 617 Stepping Stone for a last minute Covid escape. The property is managed by Del Mar Vacations which is the premium home rental service on Cape Cod. The attention to detail and follow up is top notch. The home is exactly as advertised. It is close to everything on the lower Cape (it’s literally on the bike trail), very cozy and very clean. We would love to go back to 617 Stepping Stone and will definitely use Del Mar for our rental needs for forward. They deserve 5 stars.

Home away from home

The cleanliness of the home made it feel like our home away from home. The home is very well kept and up to date. The kitchen is very well equipped, you’ll find everything you need to cook a complete meal. Hoping to be back next summer!

Very nice house

The house was very nice and comfortable, with lots of room. Everything was good with one exception: Listing doesn't mention limit of 8 people allowed on the property. Since we were in town for a family wedding, it was a disappointment that we could not have guests at the house.

Very Pleasant Surprise

This home is a gem. Very clean, comfortable, lots of room to spread out, many amenities and very close to Downtown Chatham. Del Mar Vacations was very organized, attentive, and provided a very clean home. I would definitely rent this cute place again.

Perfect Vacation

The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived! I have never rented a vacation house that was so clean and well-appointed. Everything was as advertised or better. Our family of 4 adults, one toddler and a dog was very comfortable and happy all week. The location is great too -- just a few minutes drive to any of the Chatham beaches and a short walk to swim in the pond. We were glad we brought our bicycles to take advantage of the rail trail. I hope we can go back next year!

We really enjoyed this property!

This house was perfect for our group. It was perfectly clean, and the location was great. All of our favorite shops and restaurants were close by, as well as a variety of beaches and ponds. Del Mar Vacations was friendly, professional, and attentive, and helped to make our stay that much better. I'm looking forward to bringing the other side of my family to this same house next year!
