Great location and great front view of river and amphitheater.

Hotel was nice. The room was clean, nice and comfortable as advertised. However, after arriving I noticed a $50 charge to my credit card from the hotel. After calling front desk, I was informed of a 50 $ hold put on your card in case of damage to the room. The hold would be taken off after checkout but may take up to 20 days to be removed from your account! I was told nothing about this and would not have been told if I hadn't called and asked. When leaving, they informed me of a $10 parking fee for using their parking lot! Something that again had not been told to me upon arrival. They did remove the fee after I refused to pay it; however, my mother stayed in another room and they never informed her of the parking fee... just charged it to her account. As of this isn't enough... after leaving, I noticed they "accidentally" placed two $50 holds onto my account! All charges have been removed, but it was a very stressful situation and I would not do it again. They took out $110 from my account extra (more than I paid for the room) and I feel they wouldn't have removed it if I had not noticed and complained. Wouldn't recommend... they are irresponsible with your credit card information.

Close to a sports bar and they had covered parking facilities

My room was nicely appointed and the staff were extremely helpful. A good value.

Clean, modern hotel, comfortable beds, friendly staff

Great place. Seemed new and modern great view of river

The hotel was great. The room was very spacious and everything was clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. It's a good place to stay if you have an event to attend.

I have stayed at the 4 Points in Charleston, WV twice now. Great location, staff, amenities, etc. You can't go wrong.

Hallway smelled of cigarettes and there was no way to avoid it. Would not recommend hotel because of this. Got the rudest service from one person at the front desk I have ever experienced. Actually, she never helped me with my question, so it was rude no service. Staff at breakfast and in restaurant were terrific.

This hotel is perfectly situated for all kinds of fun in downtown Charleston. I loved it!

We stayed over night on our way going south. The hotel was clean, the room was nice and clean, and yes the bed was comfortable. The staff we're great and very nice. One thing I liked a lot, the shampoo, the conditioner and the body wash are provided in a dispenser not in those small plastic containers like other hotels do.

clean, convenient to town and decent value. they host events (looked like a wedding reception whiel we were there) as well, so there were plenty of people around, but the room was surprisingly quiet. Cracker Barrel nearby for breakfast was a plus as well.

This hotel is a bit expensive but its restaurant and amenities are a pleasant surprise in the otherwise lifeless downtown area of Charleston. Good restaurant and fitness center.

The hotel rooms and restaurants are elegant, simple and functional. The staff and their service are really good. There were not enough parking spaces in general and not enough for handicapped at the hotel. Although a nearby parking garage is available, the $10 parking charge seems high, especially for weekends.

It was a great hotel and really clean and comfortable. very happy with our stay.

Right on the Kanawha River in Charleston. It's the old Charleston House, but has been completely updated and renovated. It's beautiful and very easy to get to. Right off the interstates.

Very clean and updated hotel. Refurbished a few months ago. Beautiful finishings, great lobby bar. Only deficits were no hot tub and no microwave/fridge in standard rooms if you need those. We did as we are travelling with kiddos.

Easy to find from the eway, very clean rm, nice pool n workout area! Only problem we had, a very loud emergency alarm went off at 230am, staff member said a circuit was tripped on accident. Woke us all up and we couldnt get back to sleep. Not happy about that, but if it hadnt happened we would have had a great stay

I've stayed here before it was the Four Points, and it was average to below. But now that Sheraton has taken it over, it looks like a completely new hotel. Definitely worth it for the location, the cleanliness, and the great staff.

Except for check in, everything was superb. We were pre paid for two nights and the woman at the front desk was insisting it was for one and was ready to charge us again. The room view was great, looking out over the river. Hotel shuttle took us and brought us back from a music festival at Appalachian Power Park, wait staff at the hotel bar and restaurant were topnotch, rooms were clean but a bit chilly. I will stay there again should I be in Charleston. Best part is that Black Sheep Burritos and Brews is a short two block walk around the corner. Eat there. Best place ever!
