Relaxing break fabulous location

What a terrific hideaway this was. It provided the perfect base to explore Crete and a calm hillside haven to come back to each night. It was so well positioned to explore the island from, the house was really well presented and had all we needed. the host was wonderfully helpful and friendly and the pool was the icing on the cake. Would definitely go back

Out stay at Melidoni

We spent 10 days in the accommodation of Mr. Stavros. We received a very friendly welcome and were even given fresh fruit, bread and regional delicacies. If we had any questions about the house, activities or restaurant recommendations, we got quick feedback. The accommodation was very well maintained and equipped with all the essentials. The pool and the house were cleaned regularly and properly during our stay. The vacation home is located in a beautiful village with a store and restaurants, and the surrounding area is easily accessible by car! We would love to come back!

Stavros is a fantastic host and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. He gave us recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. The villa is beautiful and in the most friendly village we have ever stayed in. The pool is cleaned every 2 days and the villa was cleaned twice whilst we were staying there by 2 lovely really friendly ladies. The villas location is perfect and really comfortable. There are also 2 balconies not shown on the pictures giving plenty of options for outside space. There were lots of really thoughtful gifts ready for us when we arrived. We had a brilliant holiday surrounded by the loveliest people and will definitely be back. We even had a message from Stavros after we returned home to make sure our journey home had run smoothly. Thank you Stavros and everyone in Melidoni!

Verstecktes Juwel auf Kreta: Rundum zufrieden, 10/10!

Wir verbrachten hier zwei wundervolle Wochen zu dritt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war schon vor der Anreise sehr freundlich, hilfreich und unkompliziert. Auch während unseres Aufenthalts stand der Vermieter per WhatsApp jederzeit für Auskünfte zur Verfügung (inkl. Tipps für Strände, Restaurants, Ausflugsziele etc.). Vermutlich hatten wir hier den nettesten Vermieter den man sich vorstellen kann. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet - von Milchschäumer über Mikrowelle bis hin zu einem leistungsstarken Föhn ist alles vorhanden - und außerdem sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sodass man sich rundum wohl fühlt und nichts missen muss. Im Innenhof am Pool oder auf der Terrasse im ersten Stock kann man sehr schön sitzen. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurden das Haus und der Pool mehrmals komplett gereinigt und die Handtücher ausgewechselt. Das Haus liegt abseits vom touristischen Trubel im kleinen Dorf Melidoni. Dort gibt es zwei empfehlenswerte Lokale (von dem eines allerdings am 9. Oktober in die Winterpause ging), eine Tankstelle, zwei Supermärkte und einen geschmackvollen Laden für kleine Mitbringsel. Ein Auto ist in jedem Fall empfehlenswert - ein Parkplatz steht wenige Meter vom Haus zur Verfügung. Wir waren hier sehr glücklich, haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt und können das Ferienhaus wirklich zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Fantastisch

De foto’s is precies zoals t huis is, er missen alleen foto’s van het balkon en patio die er ook nog bij zitten, dus het is nog beter dan omschreven. De bedden zijn heerlijk, de keuken is heel netjes! En elke 4 dagen wordt er schoon gemaakt en bedden verschoond, wat een luxe!! Daarbij is Stavros een geweldige gastheer, voor alle vragen kan je bij hem terecht, reageert heel snel en heel vriendelijk! Zelfs bij aankomst al water en fruit aanwezig. Echt een topvakantie gehad!

Il y a déjà la personnalité de Stavros. Nous avons de nombreuses expériences de locations de vacances de par le monde et nous n'avons jamais rencontré un propriétaire aussi accueillant. Dès l'arrivée et tout au long du séjour, Stravros a été continuellement disponible, avec une gentillesse et une efficacité peu ordinaires, pour répondre à toutes nos demandes (et, le pauvre, nous ne l'avons pas épargné, avec notamment des besoins de soins médicaux pour mon épouse et notre chien). Il vient deux fois par semaine nettoyer la piscine, dont une fois avec la femme de ménage (très bien) qui est venue 4 fois. La maison est super, joliment aménagée, fonctionnelle (cuisine équipée) avec une terrasse très appréciée dans la chambre du haut, et de l'air conditionné (également bienvenu). L'ambiance est calme, et nous étions à trente secondes de la place principale de ce village, Melidoni, le plus joli village de la région que nous étions heureux de retrouver après nos pérégrinations ! Il est petit, l'ambiance est chaleureuse, et la place du village toujours animée, avec ses deux restaurants, ses quelques boutiques, sa magnifique église et ses petites chapelles. On est loin de la cohue du tourisme de masse, on peut frayer avec les locaux, particulièrement sympathiques. Notre petite plage préférée, "sauvage", n'était qu'à une douzaine de minutes en voiture. Bref, nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour et nous remercions Stravros pour tout ce qu'il a fait pour nous !

Fantastisch huis!

Super fijn en schoon huis. Luxe ingericht met gebruik van mooie materialen. Het heeft eveneens 2 dakterrassen waar je heerlijk kunt zonnen en eten. De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op het authentieke pleintje van het dorp (2 min lopen) heb je leuke restaurantjes en supermarktjes. Aanrader!!!
