Absolutely fantastic. Our second stay and won't be our last. Cannot fault anything. All staff are amazing. We loved Anna ! The food was wow!!! We can't wait to return again.

Nice space for a short or long term stay. I stayed in Frida Apartments for about 5 days. Facilities were nice, parking on site, had everything I needed. Only small issue was that the large burner on the stovetop in my room was not functional, I forgot to mention this to staff, however I am certain they would have dealt with it if I had.

great place to stay

Had a great time staying at Frida, all staff were great and made us really welcome. Would like to send an extra big thank you to Angeliki who was great in the bar and restaurant, Roula is also good fun at reception. The accommodation is a good size has two pools and a welcoming restaurant. It is on a small incline which was a little challenging in the heat, but once at the top the views were fabulous for the sea and the city. It is also close to several beaches only 5minutes away...It is a 30 minute walk to the city, but if you follow the beach you can call in at chora which has a nice beach & many tavernas. there is a local bus service to the city & other towns near by which is very cheap & frequent... I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun stay on the outskirts of Chania... We look forward to returning in the future... Keep up the good work... our stay was great... PS: also treated me to a lovely cake on my Birthday... much Love from Rob & Tony

Ideal location. Beautiful views and countryside feel with easy walk into town and to beach, plus bus stop 5 minutes down the road. To walk to beach go left out of property and along path across scrub land,go past Casa Cook, just around rocky headland is lovely sandy beach with clear sea. Apartments offer clean basic accommodation in nice complex with two pools and very helpful staff.

My stay was wonderful - the best three nights of my ten day trip. I was welcomed, special requests met, and the staff were great at checking that everything was in order. The pools, bar, and Breakfast were super.

Ideal

The hotel was the perfect place for us to stay during our time in Chania. The two pools are really nice (with plenty of sunbeds available), the room had everything we needed, it is an easy walk into town along the beachfront, and also provides a good spot to get out of the town by car if you are looking to explore the island. Monday night was Greek night for us, which was a lot of fun, gave us a chance to meet other guests there, and involved a lot of audience participation! Overall, we had a fantastic time here and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you for having us!

Lovely hotel with beautiful views

We have just got back from a week at Frida and had an amazing time! We stayed in a room near the giant chessboard and second pool..which we didn't know they had! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was cleaned each day and had everything we needed...most importantly air con!! We enjoyed several cocktails during happy hour in the bar which had amazing views out over Chania and met the hotels cats! We had a fantastic time in a friendly, clean hotel with beautiful views. Thank you Frida!

Decent apartment style accommodations in Chania

Decent stay in Chania. The place was pretty clean. Good spacious room. The Large double bed was two twins pushed together. Nice pool and good breakfast. Pretty basic otherwise. Overall good.

Really good value

Great little apartments. Kept very clean every day, good quality bathroom (though hot water took a while sometimes). Having two pools is a real bonus and the option of a cafe for all meals. Only slight downside was location, needed a half hour walk to reach the old town for dinner, which we were fine with but others should be aware of. Saying that the location was great for quickly driving out to the main road to get around the island.

Friendly Family Run Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Frida. The breakfast was very nice each morning. We even got to have some special wedding cakes as the owner's son was getting married the day we left. We had room 35 opening onto the lower pool. The shower is a bit small but the room was fine. I see some of the rooms have had the bathrooms updated. For the price this is a great choice with very friendly helpful staff.

Excellent location, friendly staff

If you want to be close to the town but value being close to the beach and being in a quiet area this is definitely the place you want to stay. Arriving at this hotel feels like being welcomed into a family, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, replied quickly to our email questions prior to arriving and were so warm and welcoming from the day we arrived to the day we left.

Okay- but farther away than desired from sites

Nice enough hotel, but was a 15 minute walk to the beach and a 30 minute walk to the bus station and central tourist sights. A cab cost between 5 and 8 euros. The staff was very helpful, the food at the restaurant very good, and if you wanted to just hang by a pool and relax it would be fine. The giant chess board is fun. The beds were pretty firm ( hard) and the linen rough. I don't know if I is a religious thing for staff, but no room cleaning seemed to be done on Sundays. Room maintenance was a little rough with a door lock that didn't want to let me out and a patio door hanging by a thin bit of metal. It did have a real shower!!!

Everything I could have asked for.

The room was a little small, but plenty big enough as it was just me. I loved the soaker tub, and you can't beat the sea view. Amazing food, and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I'll definitely be staying there next time I'm in town! I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great location & fantastic swimming pools

Great location slightly outside, but within walking distance, of restaurants and bars in the old harbor and very close to the beach. Two fantastic swimming pools. The room are definitely 3 star as they are very basic, the double bed was two single beds pushed together. However, the staff are super helpful. Also the onsite restaurant and bar are fantastic.

Frida Apartments

Absolutely delightful. Friendly attentative service, nothing was to much trouble, if only every hotel had the same ethos. The 2 pools were lovely, great views from the top pool out to sea. The studio rooms were basic but more than adequate, certainly great value for money. Fantastic buffet breakfasts worth the 7€. The restaurant was busy with a perfect ambience at lunch and at dinner, and once again good value for money. A 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 minutes to restaurants, was a pleasant stroll in the evening. We would definitely stay at the Frida again, thank you to everyone at the Frida for making my first trip to Crete a super one.
