The room was very cleaned and staff was kind. Restaurant and food is very good. They have free wifi and parking place is near to hotel. You can walk to town town Chania. It is very interesting city. The hotel is in a quiet location.

A hidden pearl is hard to find. I found it and I am sceptical to share to much about this place to other people because I want this for my self and my near ones. This is perfect located. Restaurant is like a michelin, the people are lovely and kind. Our fourth time here and more to come😀😀

I had booked for 12 days forgetting to cancel. In the morning I got the email of the pickup after which I made the access to booking where was the writing canceling the booking. They did not want to repay anything and more I did not have the room anymore than I later discovered they have resold.

This hotel is nice, staff is friendly, room is clean, view is great, beach is pretty close. The remarks : - It's a bit far from the center of Chania (la canée) so you'll have to walk 30mn (I don't mind to walk but it could be 32°C outside) or take the bus, or take your car and it can be difficult to find a place to park your car (hint : try the Parking Apollon, nice price close to the center and nice staff) - We booked a "Double or Twin Panoramic Sea View" and asked specifically for a double bed but we only got twin bed stuck together, not very romantic for a couple - The parking is free but when the hotel is full, you may not find a real place, you may have to park in the small field in front of the restaurant near the street - The breakfast is good but does not offer unfortunately homemade squeezed orange juice, only industrial one. It's a pity because this island offers great oranges and you can find awesome homemade orange juice everywhere - The curtains are not totally black-out so if you want complete black, bring your own eyeshade (rest masks like in the airplane) Anyway, I would recommend this hotel as it offers nice price/quality rate

Hotel service is great and very kindly. Hotel position is good (15min walk to centre). Balcony's view was wonderful and sunset was lovely. Theo's restaurant was very good and food was perfect! Everything works great!

Upon arriving at Alexis Hotel, we were greeted by Josephine, who was very kind, welcoming and friendly, making us feel relaxed and comfortable after a long flight. As we were led to our rooms, we were pleasantly surprised with the cosy beds, spotlessly clean and beautiful view of the city and sea from the balcony. And the dinner was spectacular. Definitely go for the half board option with this hotel as the restaurant Theodosi offers food that should be Michelin starred, ranging from the most succulent tuna steaks and mouthwatering King prawns. I can't fault this hotel, even each of the staff from Maria who served our breakfast, Aris who served our dinner and the hosts Josephine and Theo, were never found without a smile on their faces and continuously helped us with anything we required, however busy they were. Thank you Alexis Hotel for a wonderful stay! Definitely recommend, 10/10

For a 2 star hotel, its very clean and the room itself is okay, however the bathroom is very small and the shower base is very uncomfortable and hard to use, water leaks everywhere. My friend and I stayed here for a week on a girl’s holiday, the first night we were distraught due to the location of the hotel. It is up two long hills, (approx 7-10 minute walk) which then attaches to the main road. In the night there is no light there and its very scary walking along it. Another concern we found was during the day the reception hours were 9.30 -1.30. However nobody was ever present there! We couldn’t get any advice needed. The location of the hotel puts it at a major disadvantage! So do bare this in mind. The restaurant below is also very overrated, food is okay, we would recommend eating in the city centre. In addition, the walk to the beach is not very pleasant, its about 12-15 through bushes and steep hills. On a positive note the staff were nice and Chania is a beautiful city. My advice is hiring a car out if you’re staying here, and this isn’t an ideal place for families with kids (no pool).

Love the hotel accommodations, the view, the staff's hospitality and the restaurant. The food was delicious and did not have to go anywhere for a great meal. I had breakfast lunch, dinner and dessert and café. It is a family business who are happy to share their history and pictures of their ancestors.I could only use the WiFi in the lobby, it would not work in my room. Would stay again on my next visit. Enjoyed my time at Alexis Hotel immensely!

First of all ,this hotel is located in a quiet area with a splendid seaview and part view of the city. The rooms and bathrooms are clean ,with air conditioning +comfortable beds. Hotel staff is very friendly, breakfast is more than enough with variations of food.I liked my staying there.

Really delicious food - would recommend the half board option, especially anything with lamb in it Staff are really helpful and the nearby beach is gorgeous - just a little more chilled than the town beach nearer Chania.
