Very well maintained hotel and fitted out with modern appliances. Very pleasant staff willing to please. Breakfast is well serviced and vast array of goodies, Chinese restaurant attached is reasonably priced.
This is a great hotel. Super large rooms and bathrooms with fabulous towels. Very comfortable large beds. Nice breakfast buffet with a wide choice both western and Chinese. All the staff are very helpful attentive and friendly. Take a room high up as the road is quite noisy.
There is a new mall opened just 500 m from the hotel. That makes for an interesting evening for a business traveller. The Chinese restaurant was great too. One of the few hotels that have English movie channels!
Nice hotel with large and comfortable rooms. Personnel is more friendly than in most of Chinese hotel. Two restaurants: one Chinese and one international. The international one is open for dinner as a buffet with a reasonable price (around 20 Euro). Close to highway and to north Changzhou business area. A huge brand new shopping center is nearby and many restaurants are reachable by walk (20 minutes) or by taxi (5 minutes). Train station is at 15 minutes by taxi.
Nice location. A large restaurant offering a good range of buffet breakfast. The food was good. The location is easy for locals to find, so if you expect to receive your suppliers, stay here. My room had English channels too.
I have stayed at several other Jin Jiang Hotels and would say they are just as nice as the other Brand hotels. This one in Changzou is no different. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is your typical Chinese buffet. The wi fi internet a bit slow. Would stay her again.
Have stayed here twice now and going back for a third time. It is excellent value for money - great breakfast (great omelet once you get across the language barrier!. Check out other 4-5 star hotels and look at their prices and you will see what good value it is.
Hotel is an about 30 min drive from Changzhou airport and an about 1 1/2 hour drive from Wuxi airport. Rooms are quite large. Bathroom has a walk in shower and a bathtub. Beds are quite hard, normal for Chinese standards, but very hard for everyone else. Electric plugs are behind the night desk, somewhat difficult to reach. Chinese, US and German plugs can be used, but no UK. Also plugs are next to the desk. Internet is WLAN and LAN based. Speed is nothing exciting, but enough for Skype, FaceTime and the VPN is working. Breakfast is OK, even some cheese. However the orange juice is lousy. Hotel is quite far away from some stores, hence you are somewhat stuck inside.
I've stayed there for 20 days. It was perfect for four stars. The location is safe and central. I definitely recommend this hotel though there exist newer hotels in Xİnbei district, it has affordable price-quality index. Location is pretty good being just a 3-4 block walk to the bars, Blue Marlin, Pauliner and many Japanese and Korean restaurants. The strictly comply with the "all carpets must be filthy" law that clearly applies to all Chinese hotels. They've made a recent change to the breakfast bar that is an improvement. Rooms are in need of renovation and have wired internet only. The satellite tv is really spotty and you actually get a different number of channels depending on which room you are in ... I've had stays with NO English programming and stays with a half dozen channels. I wouldn't really recommend the Jin Jiang, but for the money I'm not sure there are better choices.
