Excellent location
The staff was friendly and helpful. I did not like the fact that they did not have air conditioning in the rooms I reserved. I believe it was mentioned but when we arrived it was not available. Otherwise everything else was good.
The property was well located on the square, the room was uniquely designed with a comfortable bed but the air conditioning did not work, the shower had little water pressure and lukewarm water, the staff had difficulty with English to respond to my concerns about AC and the breakfast buffet was just ok. Finally, the elevators were small and your key card only worked in the ground floor though breakfast was served on the floor above it.
Friendly staff and helpful getting bus information. Rooms had all necessary amenities except a wash cloth (but 0 of the 4 hotels I stayed in Czech had them either). Rooms were huge, a very comfortable space including a desk and reading chairs, plus complimentary chocolate upon check-in. The hotel was very quiet however sparsely occupied during our visit. Of course the location is superb, right on the main square and walking distance to train station, restaurants, and shopping. The bathtub was large except had some trouble keeping the water from running out onto the floor during my shower. The beds were comfortable except my "single" room had 2 separated double beds which I was able to push together. Last drawback is there are no blackout shades if you are trying to sleep later in the morning. Breakfast buffet had a decent variety of choices (meats, eggs, fruit, pastries, cereal, etc) with views overlooking the square.
