Leaves a lot to be desired.!!!! Hot tub was cloudy and full of insects!!! The tub was about 200 yards or more from the so called casita. The path was unkept dirt path and unlit very dark. The scenic views were of a hill with sage brush. The drit paths were unkept and dark. There are old run down buildings on the property. There was suppose to be milk, eggs, bread for breakfast, the fridge was empty. If you want to get dinner you have to drive to Santa Fe. Which is 34 minutes from the place. The nearest town is Madrid and everything closes at 4pm!!! The road up to the place is not maintained and very narrow and dark .There is no TV. And the casita is more like a old studio apartment. The bed was hard and crickety. No privacy!!! The porch to casita porch faces the main house windows and is right in front of the dirt parking. The Cerrillos town looks abandoned and run down and everything was closed. The whole property looks very run down. I recommend staying in Santa Fe. You get more for your dollar. The worst place ever!!!!! No GPS sent host message for maybe help with directions and was told to pretty much find wifi and download map. Didn't mention in the instructions that you would have no GPS at a certain point.

This spot was magical to me. The casita was adorable and cozy. The grounds were just gorgeous. I really enjoyed walking around seeing the beautiful rockscapes, plants, art, and birds. It's a great spot to do a little birding. So much work has been put into this beautiful property and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The town of Cerrillos is charming too. Wish I could have stayed longer, would definitely go again.

Overall, this was a decent stay with a few operational gaps worth noting. The property itself matched the rustic description—simple, a bit worn, but clean and generally well-maintained. If you’re expecting upscale finishes, this isn’t that—but for a laid-back, no-frills stay, it works. However, there were a couple of misses that impacted the experience. Breakfast was listed as an included amenity but was not provided during our stay. Additionally, we were provided only half of a roll of toilet paper and had to contact the host, who then directed us to retrieve more from a storage shed. While the issue was ultimately resolved, it’s not something guests should have to manage themselves—basic supplies should be proactively stocked and easily accessible.Bottom line: a clean, rustic place that meets the basics, but the listing accuracy and attention to guest readiness could use improvement.

Host was nice and welcoming. The casita was exactly as described. Wifi was a bit unpredictable, but it was nice and quiet. Very peaceful and the directions were spot on. Please note, the owner has tried to update listing...no fresh eggs due to no fault of owner. Just know no eggs for now. Highly recommended.
We had a nice stay here. The casita was roomy and comfortable, and we slept well. The property is close to Madrid and its restaurants. One note: When the booking says “Breakfast Included”, that means that the hosts leave some eggs in the refrigerator for you to cook for yourselves.
