Clean comfortable modern hotel . Very quiet room on 1st floor , large flatscreen t.v , some English channels, good bathroom, toiletries provided, tea and coffee facilities. Evening meal starter , main, sweet, no choice but food good quality and hot , breakfast was buffet and plentiful good choice. This was an overnight stop as part of a shearings holiday.

I stayed in Novotel Cergy-Pontoise quite often, since our business had office in Campus Saint-Christophe. In overall I stayed in more than 25 nights in total, but their service are not improving at all as the staff not really accommodating the needs of their guest and seems to be rude. Their laundry service are the worst, as is not 1 day service, and most of the time is more than 1.5 day untik 2 days to finish and some more their put the stappler in our clothes, very unprofessional. I stayed in other chains hotel never put a label with stappler in my clothes, not even once. But this Novotel Cergy are different level, it can leave damage in our clothes or stappler mark. Overall really dissapointed with their service, and their rate is even more expensive than Marriott chain in Paris city center, its only because I have project here then I have no choice! And they don't have air conditioning on their room.

We stayed at this hotel to break the journey on the way to the Auvergne and on the return journey. It's is quiet. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. However the carpet in our bedroom and on the landing outside was disgusting - threadbare and with lots of stains - looked as if it had been there since the hotel was built - probably sixties/seventies and this put us off. They really need to do something about replacing it.Noticed that they had replaced the carpet on the ground floor. Breakfast to be recommended with lots of choice. We were on a coach trip and they provided us with an evening meal which was nothing to write home about but filled a hole.

Rooms are very pleasant and the cleaning staff is doing a very good job. The breakfast was very varied, in a week we couldn't try everything. Staff is very professional and welcoming. The bus station is just 10 minutes away.

Hotel was nice, staff was nice, restaurant nice. My biggest complaint, no AC. It was one of the hottest days ever in France, and with no AC, second floor room, I almost packed up and went elsewhere. Thankfully the staff gave me a fan, it helped but really was a tough, hot night to sleep. So, if you plan to stay in the summer, think about the no AC, rest of the year, no problem.

I've been in this hotel various times some years ago. I only had a short night this time. The hotel is nice and clean, breakfast very good. There is a pool but the weather was bad and I couldn't try it. Typical Novotel, a bit overpriced maybe.

Stayed here on a coach trip. Had a lovely clean room with tea/coffee facilities, fridge and safe. Fresh white fluffy towels were changed daily. Enjoyed our evening meals, and if there was anything anyone didn't like they only had to ask Terrie, who looked after the Shearings guests so well, and she would get the kitchen staff to make an alternative meal with no problem at all. Can't comment on the breakfast, as we didn't go down for any. All the staff were pleasant and helpful, and we would be more than happy to stay here again. We would have preferred a table for two at meal times.

The hotel is supposed to be at a good level since the price is 180 € per night... Instead in the room there is not a good small, air conditioning is not available and ventilation system is out of order. To complete the recension, tonight the bar computer is out of order so you can't charge the drinks on your room, but need to pay straight away. If not obliged to stay here for as many reason, I would rather avoid...

Visiting friends and family in France, we (family of 2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at the Novotel for 3 nights at the end of May/beginning of June. First impressions were good - very quick check in, room seemed clean and suitable for our needs. (Although weird that you have to walk all the way down a corridor to get to the lifts!) First morning seemed ok - nice selection of food, although had to ask for certain foods to be refilled. It then went downhill very quickly after breakfast. The pool was being "looked at" so kids couldn't use it at that time. The gym - which was 2 running machines, cross trainer, cycle and weight machine (adequate enough) - seemed fine, although needed a new water bottle fitted to the water dispenser as the water had run out. Maid in the room decided to change all of our towels...even though they weren't in the bath to be changed. (So there's a sign saying that to help the environment only put towels that require changing in the bath. She changed all of them. But didn't refill the coffee/tea satchets. Mid-morning the pool was still being "checked" so we went to the park around the corner and were out for the rest of the day. Day 2 (Saturday) - gym....still no water. Went and asked reception if someone could put a new water bottle as there wasn't any in the gym. 45 minutes later when I left...still no water. Breakfast....pancake machine wasn't working...we were told it would be working again tomorrow. Had to ask for more fruit, eggs, etc, etc. (Not very attentive staff.) Pool was locked. No sign, no explanation. We asked reception and were told that it was closed until Monday - no reason why. Kids were SO gutted and given one of the reasons we'd booked this hotel was due to the pool it was quite rubbish. Maid in the room changed ALL the towels again...well I say changed...but only left us with 2 towels. Day 3 - Sunday. Gym.....still no water. Asked again at reception.....by the time we checked out 3 hours after I went to the gym....there was still no water. Breakfast was really low stock...no danish, pancake machine not working, had to ask for nutella, one of the coffee machines was slightly broken to didn't serve coffee....so everyone was at the other coffee machine. When we went to check out the receptionist didn't ask how our stay was....just said "that's fine....thank you". Don't get me wrong...it wasn't terrible....but when an hotel advertises itself with a gym, pool, continental breakfast, etc.....you have a level of expectation. If you have a gym, don't think it's too much to ask that you ensure that the water dispenser has water in. It's not hard! You have a pool that people couldn't use...but you didn't explain why. Maids not replenishing tea/coffee....not ensuring there are enough towels.....or...simply abiding by the systems put in place by the hotel you work in, i.e. only change the towels if they're in the bath!!!! Not really hard. The Novotel has the potential to be SO much better, but there's no attention to detail, and the staff simply don't seem to care. Big disappointment!

I stayed in the hotel for a week on business. Room was ok - I stayed in the same hotel before and over time they have updated the rooms. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Breakfast was awful though. Apart from not changing one single item during my 7 days of stay, they often do not replenish the items. Out of 7 days, I did not see raw eggs (provided for guests to fry by themselves) for 4 days. Once I asked and the staff needed to check whether eggs were to be provided! I saw them the day before, and if they were not provided, then what's the point of putting the small frying pans on the buffet table! One day there was no fruit because I went at 8:30am. A few times there were no teapots or no teacups. OK for the room but I will not take breakfast in the hotel again.
