We stayed during a very cold week for two nights here for our ski trip to Killington. My room's heat did not work well as I set it to the max and the room temp stayed at 62 F the entire night. I had to sleep with extra layers and a hat on. The bathroom was also a bit run down. When I spoke to staff, who were friendly enough, they did agree to move me to another room for my second night. In this other room, it was a double bed so at least I had access to another set of blankets which I did use. The heat was a bit better here but still the room temp was at about 67 all night - I'll take the extra 5 degrees! Bathroom again was a bit run down with a tub/shower unit that was suppose to have a steam option which did not work. Tubs for both rooms I stayed in does not fill for baths either. Breakfast was marginal continental but at least had waffles available. I would not stay at this location again.

For the price this motel is hard to beat. It is clean and rooms are in good shape. Breakfast is very basic but for the price.... By the way the pool is closed (I would say definitely based on its condition).

So dated and poorly maintained. Forget the pool, it doesn't resemble the photo at all, it's an empty tip. The rooms are dated, in a twin bed room the extremely loud a/c unit is mounted at pillow height between the beds and totally unusable whilst sleeping. Room was badly kept, 3 cobwebs visible, 2 housing livestock! Maybe that's one way of keeping the bugs away! Forget breakfast, the tiny breakfast room was occupied the family members with infants climbing over the tables. We'd booked 2 nights - so we could use the advertised guest laundry - oh!! It doesn't have one. On the plus side, room seemed to have quite a new carpet!

If you have any alternative, do not stay here. The hallways smell of rotting carpets and what I can only assume is urine. It is truly awful and has obviously not seen any productive upgrades since the 80s or earlier.

This was disgusting Bugs crawling-big and small Dirty walls, hair in bathroom floor, bathtub moldy and soap scummy. Disgusting, holes in sheets, stained sheets, pillow full of stains Skeevy people outside Nice Indian girl checked us in...only good thing. Do. Not. Stay. Here.

Grabbed a Choice Privelege night on way to UVM graduation from Virginia. Was just looking for an easy in and out. Could not help but notice major overhaul going on. Room had New carpet and furniture. Water pressure strong and so hot that getting it cool enough was the only challenge, successfully done and shower was great. Free internet, and fast. I talked with the family running the hotel, they live on-site, and commend them for their work. Check it out. I am writing this as a thank you to the managers. Give them a shout out for me. It is not 5 stars and no valet but excellent value and a good location.

The mattress was very old and lumpy and the shower didn't have hot water which made for an unpleasant experience after a day of skiing. I didn't bother to complain at the time since I was just glad to leave in the morning and I doubt the staff would have cared anyway. They are able to inspect the state of the rooms and still choose to rent them out. But what do you really expect from Roadway Inn?

waiting waiting for a long time in evening so finally gave up and saw a shady guy coming to office and believe it or not I saw him spit right at the door .. some thing red from his mouth not sure what but it made me sick to my stomach another thing guy demanded cash n refused to give receipt .. I wasn't too happy but for 30$ I couldn't argue so I did But never again , it's a dump

I had to stay one night at this establishment because our home was being repaired. I decided to stay because this hotel was the cheapest around. All I needed was a halfway decent, comfortable bed and hot shower. Well, I got neither. The bed was lumpy with holes in the blankets - it was a very cold night in VT but they only give out one blanket. Theft issues apparently. Regardless, we will never stay at this location again (Breakfast consisted of lukewarm coffee and pastries.

If I could, I would give the Rodeway Inn less than one full circle if the program allowed for it. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Room was unclean and if it wasn't late at night, and I wasn't exhausted from my trip from Seattle, I would have looked for another place to sleep. Unfortunately, I had a two night reservation. On the morning after my first night I asked the office to please vacuum the room as the floor was dirty and disgusting. I was assured that it would be done. When I returned to the room later in the evening -- nothing had been done. No maid service was offered.
