Very clean hotel, the beach is in front of the hotel with a great view. The sand on the beach is small and the water is mostly clean and shallow, I recommend for the parent with small children. The staff is very comfortable and they fulfill all the wishes, both at the reception and in the kitchen. There is a pool next to the hotel, a Jacuzzi, a mini gym. Food in the restaurant is excellent and diverse. So far prices have risen, but I would go back there all the same
Stayed for four days. Beach and location excellent with tastefully refurbished rooms.Breakfast was good and plentiful and will definately stay there again.kallithea the main town is a 3 minute walk to the center .
Very nice location. Sunbeds are aboundant. Parking is not a problem for those who prefer going there by car. A perfect sea. The foods might be better. Not to worry. Prefer bed & breakfast and try different restaurants up the hill. Advisable, and preferable.
A lovely well maintained hotel in an on the beach location. The staff were all very helpful and kind, the rooms a generous size and clean. The food was very good with plenty of variety although I found the dining room a little minimalistic especially as they wished us to upgrade our dress for the evening meal!. I stress that this hotel is for the most part a beach hotel as there is not a great deal to do. The weather turned very cool and windy for the second half of our ten day stay too cold for the beach and we very quickly exhausted things to do
We chose this hotel because of it's location on the beach and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is spotless and the rooms cleaned daily. It was recently refurbished to a high standard. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially Maria and Manolis. The hotel catered mostly to european guests especialy the TV in the room, no British channels at all. Because of the european 'diet' which I'm not accustomed to i was concerned about the temperature of the food at times.
Nice looking hotel at the bottom of a very steep hill. Set on its own small but beautiful beach. Also a short walk from other beaches too. Hotel staff nice and friendly. Rooms clean and of an adequate size. All necessary amenities included as well as a good size safe. Balcony was an excellent size. We paid for a sea view room which really had an amazing view of the beach. Didnt use the pool but the size was ok, not really needed when the beach is right on your door step any way! The only down side to this hotel i would say is the buffet. I am a fussy eater, my fiance is not but even he didnt enjoy the food. Best part of the buffet was the ice cream. Also we had never stayed in a half board offering hotel before - lots of people lose the manners rushing and pushing for the food. We stayed 7 nights but ended up paying to eat out for most of the nights. The snack bar on the beach does offer nicer food at good value though. All in all i would recommend this hotel for people wishing to visit the Kalithea area
The hotel is clean and well located. The town of Kallithea is nice and the beach very nice. We were quiet, not too many tourists on the beach. But really disappointed with the amenities of the hotel. We booked via Voyageprivé, we were entitled to 1 cocktail offered, which was never the case. The free massage is not one, you pay for a massage and they give you another 15 minutes for free. The restaurant has a great view of the beach but the dishes are not those of a 4 star. Always the same and the desserts very disappointing. 2/3 varieties of fruit (grape, grapefruit, plum) but sometimes we bring other fruits to some customers ... No biscuit or other is given when you drink a cocktail or a glass of wine at the bar ... nothing is propps except to enjoy the beach and the pool (unheated). We get bored when it's bad. The staff is nice except a receptionist who never says hello. The housekeeping is done every day but in our bathroom it was poorly done. The day before we left, 2 girls were screaming in the corridors (between 2am and 4am) without anyone intervening. We will not go back to this hotel which is more of a 2 star hotel!
I am writing this review specifically about the food! What an exquisite gastronomic experience this was. I have never stayed in a hotel with such an amazing pallete n' variety of cuisines ready to satisfy each gastronomical requirement for guests coming from all over the world. When we first booked this hotel, we have read previous reviews which made us think that this is a wonderful property with an average cuisine- however the food was very much to our liking- which made us feel that previous reviews were quite unfair! For the whole duration of our stay we had a marvelous time. Highly Recommended.
The hotel and staff were very nice, especially Ivan in the restaurant. It should be mentioned that although the hotel had a beach location, guests with mobility problems found it difficult to reach the village. A steep slope & 100 steps or a steep winding dark road. Taxi was only 4 or 5 euros for the 4 of us. No draught beer before 5 pm was a downside. It was windy whilst we were there so the outdoor terrace was closed at mealtimes which caused a few problems as there wasn't enough room in the dining room.
After reading some of the reviews I decided it sounded like a good idea to see for myself, well I was pleased to say it is a lovely hotel, it's a small complex compared to some I have been to but was really nice. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and bright, we had a sea view room which was rather nice. Beach is just a few steps away and if you stay in the hotel you donot pay for the sunbeds. The price for drinks are reasonable, would say about the same price as outside. The walk to the town was very easy even if guite a lot of steps or a steep hill, but if a 77 and a 68 can make it anyone can. If you want a small family run feeling hotel this is one for you.
