It was a nice hotel, but I was very disappointed there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room. The first floor ice machine was gone so I had to go to the 2nd floor to get ice.

Room 215 shares a wall with the elevator shaft and is very loud. Every time the elevator is in use you'll here a symphony of loud machinery. This Hampton appears to be old and musty compared to the Hamptons I typically stay in.

It was a very nice stay. Staff was very helpful and polite. Room was clean and I thought the little notes were a nice touch.

Close to many restaurants and mall, good location! Movie theatre within walking distance.

The location was good. The hotel was clean. Staff was friendly.

We stayed here last year for an Iowa game and decided to do it again. The bed's are comfortable and the coffee is great. Did not participate in the buffet but it looked busy. The price is too high for they type of hotel but that is how they all are for a home football weekend.

Nice Room friendly staff, comfortable beds. All I have come to expect from a Hampton INN

Our family was on our way to TN for a military event half way there we were told that the event was canceled. With all the driving that the Hubby I did we were tired, the two kiddies (ages 9 and 2) were restless and we were all bummed about the event. Hubby and I quickly decided that we were going to grab a hotel and call it a day. I downloaded travel app on to my phone and with the ratings and pricing we were able to quickly decide where we were staying. I have to say that the entire process was EASY and stupid proof. No hoops to jump through, you didn't get lost in the different menu/pages. It was simple 1-2-3. From check-in to check-out we felt welcomed, comfortable, and cared for. We even got a courtusy call from the front desk making sure that all was well and to our liking. We never got the 'look' of 'oh they have children, they're going to be a hot mess to take of...' The staff was friendly, there when you need them, had an exceptional buffet style breakfast and I would most defiantly return to this hotel and highly recommend to others.

Family stay for college visits. This hotel was functional and nice. Rooms were clean with current decor; comfy beds. Fitness center was clean and modern, if a little small; offers various machines, towels, disposable earbuds and water. Free breakfast was pretty standard but with hot food options and make-your-own-waffles. The location was convenient to a variety of restaurants, gas stations, and grocery/drugstores. I'd recommend if you're looking for a basic, clean, quiet, servicable place to stay - with kids or for business.

This hotel was about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The carpet seemed "dewy" to me. Not sure if it was the high humidity or what, but was a turn-off. Otherwise, friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable and clean.

Convenient access to city. Older property that was updated a few years ago. Rooms are a little tight but ok. Typical Hampton breakfast. Very friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and the beds were soft. The pool area wasn't as big as we had hoped but the pool was nice, just small. It was very close to the places we wanted to go to. We will stay again next time we go to Cedar Rapids.

We stopped on our way to Sioux Center. It was a great choice for a great price. The staff was most courteous and helpful as well as informed as to what was available in town etc. Pool and spa in great condition, great oatmeal for breakfast.as well as waffles, fresh pears and good coffee. The bed was comfortable and refreshingly clean bedding was available. We thoroughly enjoyed our respite.

The only thing I did not like is they added $50.00 to my credit card for no reason. When I called about this they said this was in case any thing was damaged. Nothing was damaged everything was just like it was when we arrived. The only thing was our card to open the door would not work so the desk clerk had to open the door. When I called about this they said the $ 50.00 would be returned and as of yet it still has not......

We stayed at this hotel on our road trip to see baseball. The breakfast was awesome and the staff and rooms were perfect!

Convenient, quiet and an all around good room. Nice folks and a decent hot breakfast.

It was not clear on the booking web site that I was reserving a smoking room. Later, on the confirmation, I noticed "customer requests a non-smoking room" with a disclaimer that it couldn't be guaranteed. Sure enough, when my wife and I arrived, we found that we'd been placed in a smoking room. My wife has severe asthma, and would not have been able to tolerate it. Our check-in person was able to find us a non-smoking room on a very busy University of Iowa Parents' Weekend. The hotel itself was great; however, if you're a light sleeper, the night trains and their horns might bother you.

I decided to stay at this hotel for the weekend, when I came to Iowa for a football game. The hotels in Iowa City and Coralvlle were either booked, or overpriced. This hotel was clean, the free breakfast was great, the check-in/check-out process was fast and easy. I really liked my experience here. It was about 25 to 30 mins from the football field, and the nice mall there, but it was super easy to get to all of that.

We were visiting relatives in the area, and needed a quiet comfortable place to rest from our visits. The hospitality/breakfast hostess was fabulous, and really made us feel welcome. The breakfast selection was great!

Immaculate room. Courteous and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast provided. Reasonably priced. It was a very enjoyable stay and will stay here the next time in town.
