Very rigid and inflexible policy on charging 500pesos corkage for bringing outside food, even if the cost of the food is cheap (it was just cup noodles) and even if we will order full meals from them.they also charged 40pesos for hot water, same as price of coffee because they said that hot water and coffee are the same.they are not customer-oriented despite them claiming that they are fair to their customers.i will not recommend this place.there are still a lot of options in the city.

Hotel at middle of Cebu

Location is a blessing, just 15 minutes away from Ayala Mall and 30 minuted away from downtown Facilities wise, complete with air conditioner, hot and cold showers, cable and WiFi. Love how color combinations are done in every room. There was color motif (our room was blue). Haven’t tasted their food though. Also find their puericulture practices practical and yet maintaining the hotel appeal

Rock out!!

They have a huge indoor garden on the ground floor, with a lounging area and restaurant that contain, like, 30 instruments, from guitars to drums to traditional drums and like keyboard thingies. Super fun. They also have great security and a location that's just a one-minute walk from the capitol building. Jeepneys run outside, so it's easy to get to the city's main attractions for just 7 pesos.

Nice. Clean. Some restaurants around the hotel. But far from the downtown in walking. You can rent a motorbike but if you rent for 2 days minimum if not it's not possible. A lot of jeepney pass around the hotel.

Great for families

We just stayed one night but would have happily stayed more. It’s clean and the staff are fantastically helpful. The play area is perfect for young kids. For the price this place is brilliant. They had well kept libraries and a restaurant too. Obviously the rooms are basic but there’s more than enough space and I found it perfect for our requirements. Would happily stay there again.

Ok hotel. Found the housekeeping to be wanting. After my room being "cleaned" I could see evidence that all they did was empty the garbage and make the bed, the face basin was still dirty. I saw roaches, the first night some rodent ate up a bag of tea that I left out on the bed. You are not allowed to bring food up to your room and when leaving you have to leave the key. The ac was very noisy. Other than that, it was a cheap place for me to sleep. The staff was ok. I guess whatever faults I found should be expected for the amount of money that I paid to stay there. Liked the fact that they had books so that I could read.

Cebu Mayflower hotel

Tried this for the family rooms. Rooms were disappointing. family was picking up from airport late, around midnight, needed a place to stay on arrival. Had planned on 2 nights stay, changed mind only stayed one night, did not get refund of second night. room were less than impressive, closer a super 8 hotel room. Staff was very pleasant upon check in, after that not helpful. would not recommend this hotel.

Good value for money

Room was large, with good air-conditioning and hot water. It's a little bit dated, but it's ran as a proper hotel, and is therefore good value for money. The location uptown is OK. There are places to eat around there. The only negative is that the wifi signal strength in my room was not very good...therefore the internet dropped out quite frequently. But other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.

Great hotel,just some home comforts need adjusting

Lovely concept hotel,lots of information about the initiatives they are running.Fab garden & beautiful koi pond. Fantastic selection of books to borrow & board games to play. The only down side is that the restaurant didn't serve beer & there was no fridge to keep water in.They did have a communal water downstairs but we were on the 4th floor up,perhaps a water dispenser on each floor would be better & still ecologically sound.

Decent Hotel

I enjoy this hotel, the staff is excellent, truly friendly and helpful in answering questions I had . I have never been to the Philippines and am happy to say7 the people are as friendly as I had been told . The room is very utilitarian , it is clean , good shower , good bathroom in general . The A/C in my room worked well , (very important here) , the room in general is OK. If you want to save your money on the sites of Cebu instead of spending a lot of money just for a place to sleep , this is a very good choice . There is a small but nice cafe on the first floor with good food at a good price , and is open at 6:00 am til around 2:00pm, then back open at 6:00PM TIL 9;00pm for dinner . The only problems I had is the fact that the room just didn't have enough lighting , and the WiFi was down as much as it was up . In talking to the staff , it seemed a that the problem was one they normally didn't have , but from what I hear this is a city problem , not just this hotel. Over all , I would be happy to stay here again , and if you are a coffee drinker like me , they make an excellent cup of coffee in the cafe . Not fancy at all , but the staff is great , and I vote is two thumbs up .
