We had a great stay (again!) at this resort. It is right on the beach, staff is very welcoming and accommodating, the villa was cleaned daily. From the moment we arrived we felt at home - the staff really goes the extra mile to make the villa look marvelous, just the little details made it absolutely perfect. This was our second stay and it was just as good as the first time. We will surely go back!

The village beach cottages are fabulous. My teenage girls and I stayed for one week at the cottages. Upon arrival to the hotel we were greeted by the friendly staff and were shown to our beautiful spacious two bedroom room. the room was immaculate and it was so nice to see the welcome basket. We met Colin the next day and he gave us the history of the village beach and helped plan our stay. Every suggestion he made was perfect. Claudius took us on all of our excursions and is absolutely fabulous I highly recommend the trip to the waterfalls and visiting Colin's chocolate plantation. My teenage girls cant wait to go back to Village beach cottages. This hotel is a true gem. We are happy to be part of the village beach family.

After reading many reviews, we decided to stay here on a split stay between the northern part of the island and down by the Pitons. The cottage was lovely, well-stocked, and very clean. The beach was empty and felt safe with calm water. The pools are well-maintained and heat up nicely in the sun. It is right next to a busy highway, so yes, you will hear booming music from cars and racing motorbikes. There is security 24/7, which is nice to have, but also a little strange to have security constantly walking back and forth in front of the rooms. It did detract a little bit from feeling like we were on vacation somehow. The guards were friendly. We were summoned from our breakfast on our patio the first morning for our "orientation" with Colin. I totally understand his pride in his property and island, but it was definitely off-putting to basically be told we had to go and speak to him. He did offer some nice suggestions, but the mandatory aspect of it was a little over the top. It is a close to a grocery store, but the better selection is at the store in the mall about 15 minutes north of the Villas. Also, if you are coming from the airport it is very easy to drive right by the property and will have to go a ways before being able to turn around. If you are looking for totally self-service lodging that is on the beach and clean, this is the place to stay. If you want more of a resort feel, go elsewhere.

My daughter an I recently visited Villa Beach Resort in St. Lucia and had a wonderful time from the moment we arrived. Our cottage was beautifully decorated with freshly picked flower petals in the bedrooms and the bathrooms. The pictures of Villa BeachCottages are identical to the ones shown in Trip Advisor and truly deserve a five star rating. The entire staff at this resort are professional, courteous, and are always interested in making sure you are having a wonderful vacation. I will surely return to this vacation paradise. I highly recommend Villa Beach Cottages. Thanks again to Mr. Colin Hunte, General Manager and his wonderful staff.

This is a spacious beachfront privately owned small property. It is located on a bay in Castries. Unfortunately there is not much else on the bay and there is not a lot to do in Castries.. You will need to drive to everything. But there are grocery stores and a great coffee shop nearby. The property is well kept. We had a two room suite. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dining area so it is easy to cook in. Note you need to bring your own tea/coffee. The bedroom is spacious and so is the bathroom. All units come with a porch or balcony facing the ocean. The only issue we had is that the AC was pretty weak. We had to close off the kitchen to make the bedroom ok. Staff are friendly. Plan on being greeted personally by the owner. He had many stories and lots of advice. The time is well spent and you should plan on it. One comment he made stuck with me - the only sharks here are on land. That is true. If you try to walk the beach off the property you will be aggressively acousted. There are security guards at night though I never felt they were necessary. I want to see this property succeed as it is truly exceptional and affordable. But I think some development along the bay would make it more viable (though I hate to support development). I recommend this place if the location works for you.

This was our first trip to St. Lucia, and after reading all the great reviews we decided to stay at Villa Beach Cottages. We loved our cottage (#10) overlooking the beach and ocean. Being on the second floor gave you a little more privacy, and a better view of Choc Bay. The staff are so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and Colin gave us lots of recommendations for things to do while we were in St. Lucia. We did not rent a car, but the hotel arranged for transportation whenever we wanted to go out. We loved the full day tour with Claudius, which included the mud baths, waterfalls, and lunch with a view of the Pitons. It was also a great way to see some of the local villages. The other driver we really liked was Francis, who took us to Pigeon Island one day. We also would recommend having dinner brought in one night - it was great and we had plenty of leftovers. We ate at the Coal Pot, The Pink Plantation House, and Buzz - all great meals.

The Villa Beach Cottages have the best staff ever and the owner is so generous with his time and recommendations! Upon arrival we were told we would have an appointment with the owner in the morning. We really wondered what this was all about. When we went into his office he pulled out a map and started to circle "must do's" and "must sees". He spent almost an hour with us. We headed out that night and thought we might go to one of his recommendations. OMG! From that night on we followed his recommendations and suggestions and had a wonderful vacation. Our experience on St. Lucia would have been completely different if he had not taken the time with us. Thank you, thank you, and thank you. By the way, you must go to the Teton area and explore. Truly memorable. The Villa Beach Cottages are lovely and have everything a person could want. I would go there again without reservation. Lovely. The beach is immediately in front of you with the pool out your door. GREAT!

Before booking our trip to St. Lucia, I read many Trip Advisor reviews. All the reviews of Villa Beach were glowing. Mine will be more of the same. The location on this beautiful beach was exactly as I hoped it would be. The service was extraordinary. I would classify Villa Beach more as a concierge condo than a hotel. The amenities on site are limited (no bar or restaurant), but you can have anything and everything booked for you or delivered to your room as you wish. It's service is like any high end hotel but without any of the attitude. The owner Colin Hunte spent a good amount of time with us, providing us with history of the hotel and island as well as giving us several excellent recommendations. And of course our driver Claudius was a wonderful guide and ambassador for the island. We had a fantastic trip and plan to return to Villa Beach in the future.

My wife and I had another amazing experience on St. Lucia. We stayed at Villa Beach Cottages in Choc Bay. The property was well maintained and our accommodations were spot on. Comfy bed, full kitchen for those choosing to prepare meals in the suite, clean bathroom with well stocked toiletries. Beautiful patio overlooking the beautiful beach and bay. We met with Colin, the manager, on arrival. After telling him what we wanted to do and our expectations of our stay on the Island, he preceded to outline a complete itinerary of activities, tours, and things to do. He gave us recommendations of the best restaurants on the island. After going over all the options presented to us , we decided on three tours and activities that the staff at the front desk fully arranged for us. We rented a car at the airport so we did a couple activities ourselves. Pigeon Island was our first activity. A lot of history and a great hike. We did A gondola ride and a zip line adventure that the girls booked for us. We drove but you can also be shuttled there. Absolutely beautiful tour. It is located in the rain forest which is about 70% of the island. Our guides were amazing. We did a snorkel tour with Andre and his crew. We were picked up and taken directly to the boat. Andre and staff were great. The highlight of our tours was the day trip with Claudius. He picked us up at the resort and we headed for the city of Soufriere. We did the Botanical gardens, sulfur springs, and waterfall, All during the tour, he told us of some the history of the island, and answered our questions we had. We got to see the sister property that Colin's family owns and showered after the sulfur springs and mud bath. We had lunch at the resort of Ladera. Situated on the hillside between the two Pitons, the views were spectacular. What a day! We ate at a different restaurant for dinner every day as we wanted to experience as many places and flavors as we could. Thank you Colin, for all of the recommendations! Rituals coffee shop was our go to place for breakfast. Close by and quick. It was nice to have a car to have the freedom to explore and do things on our own. We recommend it although you do drive on the left side of the road! If not adventurist, you can get a taxi anywhere as public transportation is huge on the island and inexpensive. All in all we would have to say that Villa Beach gets our vote hands down for the place to stay on the island. Nevea, Nadia, Netakia, at the front desk, Marilyn the housekeeper, and Colin the owner/manager, you are awesome! Thanks for a most memorable vacation!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing time in St Lucia. What a hidden gem Villa Beach Cottage is! Colin and his staff are so helpful and their recommendations for dinner and day trips were on point! We have already booked our trip for next year!
