Walk to Downtown Cashiers!CharmingSecluded Cottage w/Resort Access –Pet Friendly

5/5 Excellent

"Absolutely charming mountain cottage-accurately represented; beautifully appointed. You can tell that a lot of thought went into the design to achieve maximum use of space, function, and pleasing aesthetics. When choosing a vacation rental, these are just as important to me as location because I like to enjoy the property itself as well as the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The outside was tastefully landscaped with a campfire area, and the view from the covered back porch was inviting in the early mornings and evenings for coffee and conversation. We spent lots of time within working a jigsaw puzzle, reading books, and watching movies. Located just outside of town, we walked to restaurants, shops, and a farmer’s market. Saw several waterfalls and took some short hikes. Nice area with friendly people. Host was very responsive and check-in was a breeze. I highly recommend this lovely cottage! We will be back!"

Best Western Plus River Escape Inn & Suites

5/5 Excellent

"I stayed on the second floor in a 2 queen suite with a private balcony. Even with the 2 queen beds, the room was plenty spacious. The beds were excellent! The entire property was extremely clean and well maintained. The balcony overlooking the Tuckasegee River is wonderful. However, if the Best Western people read this, we need more than 2 chairs on the balcony. The amenities are great. There's guest laundry facilities on each floor. However, Best Western people, There's no ice or vending on the second floor. Now there is a well stocked mini-convenience store in the lobby with soft drinks, juices, beer, a variety of snacks and a few microwaveable meals. On the main floor is a gym, several lounge areas with TVs, an indoor heated pool and spa and a large common deck that's just feet from the river. On the second floor atrium that overlooks the lobby, there's a fairly large handmade model of the town of Dillsboro. If you're staying on a different floor, it's worth stopping in on 2 to take a look. One last comment is the location. The property is just off the main highway but is down hill and around a corner where the river is giving it a very private and secluded feel. I really enjoyed my stay and hope you do as well."

New Listing! Mountain Views - Fire pit - Walk to downtown Cashiers

5/5 Excellent

"As wonderful as the pictures reflect, this property is simply delightful. The views from the idyllic, screened-in porch are spectacular. The entire cabin is curated as thoughtfully as the selection of vinyl albums for the record player. If you want to be at the top of the hill, up in the trees, with a fire pit, outdoor grill, all the creature comforts, and a prime location to boot, book this five-star gem."
