Hotel is expensive but you really don’t get anything for the price. No water in the room or tea/coffee. Staff are ok...... swimming pool was average, tried to exchange pounds at the reception on multiple occasions but unfortunately they didn’t have Dirhams lol 😂
Took taxi from Casa Voyaguers for 40 dirham. Room 406 had view of Atlantic Ocean. Bed was comfortable enough and was very clean. Had intermittent problems with water running and elevators running but it was short term. Location is ok if you want to be by beach’s. Fast food like McDonald’s and Burger King are steps away. Pool was decent and lounge chairs ok. Taxi to old Medina is about 25 dirhams. Some use meters some try to up charge you. Stand firm at 30 dirhams for petite taxis. 300 dirhams to airport as train wasn’t running so early. It was a ok hotel and good value for money.
The hotel staff was friendly and the room was really good, had sea facing room. Food was good, bit better than the average hotel stuff. Ms Oumaima the receptionist, was really helpful with getting me the room I required. Also very patient with regards to my actual book in. Will recommend to all.
Thanks god we booked for 2 days. Visited Casablanca in February and it is cold (today is 10 C) , the least you expect to have hot water to shower and working heater in the room since winds are strong. No heating nor hot water to shower. For 2 nights reception kept promising technician will come to fix hot water problem and moved to 7 different rooms to have one room with heating system finally. No beach access but you have to cross the road and use the public beach yourself . To be fair the restaurant has fresh eggs and fresh orange juice. Beds are comfortable. This hotel does not care about how comfortable is guests just because we decided not to extend stay !!! shout out to the kind concierge and the sweet lady at the restaurant , only 2 professional people who apologized for 2 freezing nights. Manager ran away other direction when she just see my husband requesting any other room just to shower as a solution !!! She was out of fake stories related to maintenance. I was wondering why they never mentioned to booking that they do not have tap hot water or heating if they want to remain 4 stars hotel in booking !!!

We flew in to Casablanca for a night on our way to Marrakesh and was booked in to a room for 3. To start with the room was too small, barely had space to walk around and the view was horrible! We were expecting an ocean view since the hotel was overlooking the ocean but no! What we got was a horrible view of dirty roof tops. The hotel location was lovely, right in the middle of shops, cafes and beach lounges. Breakfast wasn't interesting, the options were limited and the dinning hall not up to standard, we were happy we only had to stay a night. The staff were nice and attentive, though we had to call for toiletries twice, the third time I was forced to go down to the reception for a toilet roll and guess what???? The staff took me to another guest room to get a toilet roll and I was like seriously???? In a nut shell, I definitely would not go back.
From the checking in point, staff weren’t very helpful, communicative or enthusiastic. Upon checking in we just got handed a card and didn’t even know which room number we were in. As we arrived (past check in time) our room wasn’t ready and we walked in just as cleaners were walking out and we were left with no towels. Later on we got handed one towel for two people. As we were there for just one night we thought we’d leave it. As we went out for a walk around the area, me and a friend were looking for a spa and didn’t know which would be best so we went back to the hotel and asked for a recommendation. Both desk clerks advised us if we went to the Hamman Ziani we could get a discount if we said the hotel sent us. I asked how far it was and the receptionist advised it’s only a 20 Dirhams taxi ride there so we thought why not. As soon as we jumped into the taxi we were already disappointed as the driver charged us 50 Dirhams each way!!! (So we spent 100 in total not 40 like she’d advised). As soon as we got to the place and said the hotel had sent us, the “spa” receptionist laughed at our face and said there are no further discounts, we insisted and nothing we had to pay the full price. Anyway thought might as well as we were already there. We paid for a package which included Hamman and massage advertised as 1hour and we got at most 15 mins of massage!! Anyway, the Hamman experience was disappointing (we had already done two other Hammans in other cities so we know what’s like) and we went back to the hotel feeling disappointed. As we approached Hotel Azur’s desk about the incident, the guy at the desk only said “well you shouldn’t have paid for it and everyone else likes it”. After a useless 15 min explanation on why they should not advertise this place to tourists, there were no apologies or anything of the type from the hotel. We also mentioned the taxi was a lot more than they had told us and we had spent extra time, money and frustration on a place that wasn’t even a spa but which they recommended. We got told the manager wasn’t there at the moment and there were NO APOLOGIES, all the guy kept saying was “everyone says it’s nice”. Anyway after that frustration we had asked if we could have breakfast earlier as we had to leave early for our flight the next day and we had already paid for it. We got declined our early breakfast as well as a refund to add on to the frustration!!!! We had only just come from Marrakech to Casablanca and our previous hotel had nicely allowed us to have an earlier breakfast prior to our departure to Casablanca and this hotel couldn’t even do this as a gesture of goodwill for us and not even to make up for our horrific “spa” experience. 0 stars for customer service, communication and meeting customers expectations. I will never stay at this place again neither recommend anyone to EVER stay if you expect a decent treatment as a paying customer. If this place wants to succeed, please provide your staff with some customer service training.
While scoping out hotels to book in Casablanca, it took a lot to find what we were used to in terms of your own private bathroom. This place met all of my criteria for the bathroom situation and free wife, and even had ocean view rooms. The room wasn't big but it did the job since we were rarely there. The hotel in general was very clean and very open. Staff was accomodating and spoke English so there was no language barrier which was great. Our room did have an ocean view and also a pool view. Our balcony was great. Big enough for a small table and chairs but we really enjoyed using it. You are right in the middle of everything in this location. It is busy and right ton the corniche . The only downfall we encountered was ALL the night clubs completely surrounded us. Directly across the street, next to us on all sides etc. They were extremely loud and obnoxious to the point where we couldn't sleep. I should also mention I had to keep the balcony door open for the ocean breeze since it was a little warm for me to sleep at night . This resulted in worse noise, but even with the door closed, it was disruptive. If you like peace and quiet this is not the hotel for you. Otherwise we loved it and were very happy with our choice to stay here. I should mention it is in a very safe area. We had no issues whatsoever and were not afraid to walk around after dark -which we did with no problem. That alone was a huge plus to discover this while here.
my wife and i arrived aug 2rd,air when we checked in we mentioned air canada lost part of our luggage a woman came out from an office and said she would take care of it ,she arranged everything.she also arranged our drive on our return which we missed on our way in when our flight arrived late front staff were very helpfull during our stay, rooms were clean ,we were on the 5th floor and at night you could hear the music from the nightclubs but it really did not disturb us,all in all a great place and location to stay
This hotel is not well organised. They did not get out booking correct after we upgraded at $70 extra. The staff tried but this hotel is not recommended. It is overpriced and the beachfront area is dirty.
