This hotel was so bizarre. The doorman outside the hotel, the classy looking exterior, the elegant front desk and attentive check-in staff made this seem like a very high class hotel. Then I turned around to take the very small elevator to my floor and saw dirty and worn hallway carpets. Then I couldn't get my key card to work. Back down to the lobby. Somehow the woman at the desk, who came back up with me got it to work but it continued to give me problems for the rest of my time there. Then there was the day when 7 people in a group checked in at once and, because only one of the 2 small elevators was working, it wound up being faster for me to walk the 8 flights up to my room than to wait for room in the elevator. On the plus side, my room was kept clean, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious (although the curtains were worn and dated), there were niceties like toiletries in the large bathroom and a safe in the closet. The location was convenient for me -- I took a tram from the Casa Voyageurs train station to within a few blocks of the hotel, walked everyplace I wanted to go, and walked to the Casa Port train station to catch a train to the airport. I had breakfast once in the hotel restaurant (my reservation did not include breakfast so it cost 80dhm to eat there). There was a variety of foods available and the coffee wasn't bad. All in all, it was worth the discounted price I paid to stay there but it certainly isn't a 4 star hotel.
I was put up on this hotel by air Maroc after my flight was delayed Room was a bit tired and worn but a reasonable size The food provided to us poor airline flight rejects was not at all good .. very little choice and what was supposed to be hot was stone cold Any way somewhere to put my head
Well, I got scabies at this hotel. I only spent two nights at this hotel and I got scabies after the first night. I thought it could be just an allergy, but it got worse and I visited the doctor as soon as I arrived home, and was told it was scabies. The lobby looks nice, but the rest of the hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars.
Hotel is close to stastion, room is big and nice, clean, But the main receptionist in blue dress was really incredibly rude! She doesnt know how to talk to guests if there is some problem. And moreover while we were complaining other receptionists laught behind us.
This is a hotel that we drove on our round trip and I certainly would not book. One notices that the agency , which has arranged the round trip probably again strongly on the already low price presses. The room was terribly warn and did not smell fresh. Superficially, the room and the bathroom were clean. The buffet an average uniformity well on the average taste of the guests passing here. In Germany, the hotel would probably just a star.
The location is perfect. Centrally located to all the interesting places to visit. The rooms are ok but a bit outdated. Clean bathroom though. Breakfast was rather poor, and basic. Nearby tramway to do sightseeing.
Very disappointing and unpleasant experience! Casablanca was beautiful, friendly and felt safe. Apart from dealings with this hotel: wrong information on booking.com map, checking in for 45 minutes, paid for a ‘room with a view’ got wall, unresponsive and unhelpful reception and finally recommending the rip off taxi - I ask for a price on reception, the reception staff helped me to the taxi in front of hotel and the driver tried to charge me 15 times more! (I paid significantly less for an airport taxi on 10 time longer distance!) Stay away as there are plenty of choice! Casablanca definitely worth visiting!
I spent here almost 3 weeks for work and, That’s a good hotel that offers a good value for ur money. Centric and well located, very close to Casablanca s biggest church ⛪️ sacré cœur, which is now under renovations. The room I had first had lot of flies and smelled badly cigarets. I asked them to change it and so they did. Staff are warm and professional.
I stayed in this hotel with my young daughter for 1 night. At first, I thought I was at the wrong hotel because it looked so nice and I hadn’t paid for a nice hotel. I was at the right location, but then there were some issues. The first being customer service. When I first arrived, the gentleman at the front desk seemed a bit dismissive, but gave me the keys quickly. At check out, I was in a hurry to leave for a tour and another gentleman at the front desk quickly stopped me to charge me for state fees. According to the website I used to book the hotel, there weren’t anymore fees and I had paid the final price. They charged me 20 dirhams and I gave them 50 dirham bill. They weren’t able to find change so I let them keep the change since I was in a hurry to leave. Secondly the window was left open in our room, which is not problem, but when I went to close and lock it only one side locked. I didn’t sleep well that night. The best part of the hotel is the restaurant downstairs. The staff there will treat you like royalty. We got there after 10pm to eat something and they were able to whip us up a chicken sandwich, fries, and salad. The waiter was great!
I was a bit apprehensive about staying here after reading some reviews but we had a good experience . We had a huge room with a great view and 2 bathrooms which we didn’t expect. It was clean and we could make a coffee there. The bar was relaxing with a piano player in the evening. The staff were really helpful with directions and advice on transport etc. We communicated fine in English. If you want a 5 star western type motel this is not for you. But if you want value for money and a place with some character then I’d recommend it. It was fun and a great location
