There were plumbing issues. Drain didn't work. Trucker ran engine outside our door all night. Got little rest.
The rooms were dirty and smelled of weed. We had hairs in our bathtub and cigarette burn on the bed spread.
counter person very difficult to understand and he had a difficult time understanding me. toilet was loose from the floor and needed to be flushed twice to work. my stay was for 2 nights but I was locked out after the first night, had to track the desk guy down to re-key the key.
Location showing age, need some repairs, carpet, paint etc.
We stay here because for the money it is the best value for a stay in Phoenix. We only use it for sleeping and for that it is just fine. Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable which is all we require. The hole for the shower head was uncovered and the sink faucet was loose. Otherwise the staff was friendly and our stay was jus fine.
Not very clean only toast for breakfast and the shower is not acomidating for a full grown man not to mention the trains that come through regularly all night long
Definitely no bells or whistles at this joint. Just some place to lay your head and "decent" shower before hitting the road.
Clean affordable motel an hour south of Phoenix good breakfast located right off Hwy 10 Leads straight to airport mini fridge and coffee pot in room We would stay there again
The room was small but clean when we arrived. Staff were slow had to request them to clean after we had been gone till late in evening, then was slow.
Not too bad. The carpet and bathroom floor looked new. The room door looked as if someone had kicked it in and it was poorly repaired. The bed linens and pillows were sketchy. The fitted sheet was inside out which tells me they pulled it off and flipped it inside out instead of putting on a clean one. The other bed sheets looked dirty or stained. Overall it was ok for the one night we stayed there.
The main light switch on the wall didn't work. Only one light in the room
Arrived at about 7pm and was put into a smoking room although I specifically booked a non smoking room. When I complained about the room and requested I be placed in a non smoking room they told me it would be an upgrade and $160.00 more. Eventually, after they told me they would cancel my reservation if I didn't want a smoking room, or charge me more for a non smoking room and I proved to them that I reserved a non smoking room, they "found" a room for me. After that, everything was fine, but had I been paying full price for this place I would have been highly disappointed. It's in serious need of a remodel. My air was obviously broken and I had no idea what was cool or heat, as it changed on its own, the bed was extremely small, it was dirty, smelly and small.
The hotel was a great value for the money. The location wasn't great as it was next to and across from a truck stop, so it was a little noisy, but other than that it wasn't bad. The room was fairly clean and housekeeping stopped by daily throughout the stay to make sure all of my needs were met. The hotel has a pool, albeit it's a bit of a small one. It's the place to go if you're looking for a decent cheap hotel.
Room was ok for a single night. There were loud train noises during the night.
Good value and kind staff. Hotel is old and not the cleanest, but rooms are spacious with fridge and wifi. TV reception is horrible and wifi isn't too strong either. Breakfast selection pretty good, needs more healthy options. Wake-up calls always late, and cleaning staff did a worse than minimal job, entirely skipping one day. Lots of noisy trucks all around. Pool area is completely unappealing, literally surrounded by parked big rigs.
