Comfort Inn Kennesaw2.5 out of 5.0

This spot has the typical amenities associated with Comfort Inns and it is a good location--close to the super highways and across from a large mall with lots of shopping and restaurants. That said, I was surprised to notice how rough the sheets were when I turned down the bed at night. I toss and turn a lot while sleeping and these sheets were so bad that I even had brush burns on my elbows the next morning! I would not stay at this one again.
First time staying at the hotel. My son was at a competition just down the road so it was super convenient plus it is across the street from a Starbucks, several restaurants, the mall, and a walking / biking trail which was good because we could easily walk. Breakfast area "small" but there were also multiple sporting events going on that week so generally it wouldn't be a problem. Breakfast buffet: okay. It is far enough off the main road that road noise wasn't a problem. Decor was fine. Parking lot was small but sufficient (hate giant parking lots), and I never had a problem finding a spot. Staff was really nice and helpful. Room was clean. I would totally stay there again if we were in Kennesaw. Overall, a good hotel.
Stayed at this hotel because it was chosen by a softball organization for a tournament my daughter was playing in nearby. We stayed there for 3 nights. It's no way this is a newly renovated hotel. Maybe the air conditioning unit & certain areas but not the entire hotel. Has only 1 elevator that barely moves. Looked liked we had recycled shampoo bottles. They were only 1/2 full. Bathroom has no ventilation. The vent pipe near the tub/shower has black stuff in it. The bathroom door almost touches the toilet when you open it because the bathroom is so small. The bathroom floor had someone else's hair on it. We woke up congested. I went across there hall to ask a guy who was knocking on doors saying he was housekeeping for shampoo and a do not disturb sign. I noticed that he was spreading a comforter over the bed and didn't change the sheets. He pulled the sheets off one bed and not the other. I reported it to a woman at the front desk. She became offended and told me housekeeping was a woman and she hadn't done sheet exchange yet. (Well I don't know who the guy was but he has access to the rooms and was stripping some beds. He had a large bin with a roll of garbage bags in it.) She gave me a bottle of shampoo and it was 1/2 full and looked to have been recycled. I went back upstairs and looked into the room for the guy who said he was housekeeping. He wasn't in there. I was right about them not changing sheets on both beds. Only 1 bed was stripped. The same small pieces of trash were in the elevator for 3 days. I don't recall ever hearing a vacuum in this hotel. This should be a low budget hotel not a $157-209/ night. The photos are deceiving. The rooms are really really small. We didn't eat the breakfast because we decided if our room wasn't clean, we should not eat the food.
This was a very small room but OK for a stop over and they honored a military discount. Lots of restaurants in the area and they offer a nice breakfast in the morning. It was fairly quiet. Would stay here again. The receptionist was very nice and hospitable.
This is a smaller motel right by I-75, in a shopping district (with a lot of traffic, be warned). Lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from. The rooms and common areas are very clean (apparently unusual from reading other properties' reviews). Rooms are on the small side for a suburban place, but just fine for 2 or 3 days. (I am impressed that a previous reviewer had 6 stay in one room). The rooms are quiet (this was a weeknight stay), and have both microwave and fridge, which is great. Bathroom, bed, and so on were fine, although drawer space is limited. There is free wifi, very easy to get connected. I do not believe they have a pool or exercise room, but check their website. Also I got by far the best price on the website for the rooms we were booking. My only room complaint is that the heating unit was dusty and I wanted to open the window to get it aired out. However they had bolted shut the window. The small "lobby" has the breakfast buffet, tables, and a couple of armchairs that pass for a waiting area. The entire space can't be more than about 30-40 feet square, including the front door and the check in counter. It's cramped and awkward. As others have noted, breakfast itself was adequate but could be better. Also I asked to turn the TV to a neutral channel (weather channel, HGTV, etc) since they had some volatile news show going on, but they said they didn't get those channels. Very odd, since obviously the rest of the motel did. It makes a cramped area even less inviting. Since everyone at the motel was very nice, I'm hoping they will consider these low cost changes.
Booked through AAA on a late night drive from Orlando. Family of 6 fit perfect in the double queen with pullout sofa. Rooms were clean and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was a nice typical free breakfast. The staff were all pleasant from 1:30AM check in to the cheery morning breakfast/check out. We did not use the pool but the patio looked inviting. Would return on our next family vacation stopping point.
The hotel is located in a very congested area, however close to several restaurants and shopping stores. We needed a one night stay for a break in driving and it suited that purpose. The bed was comfy and soft. The room was clean and you didn't hear the traffic from the street. This hotel does not have a pool or work out area; which we really didn't need. The breakfast was ok. Nothing to brag about but got something in our stomachs before getting on the road again.
Just had a quick overnight stay (left before breakfast started in the morning), but it was nice. The usual comfortable beds and pillows that we love. One nice feature, since we were traveling with a trailer with two Harleys, was knowing that the parking lot was equipped with security cameras. Check-in guy was super chatty!
I recently stayed at this hotel for a convention. Great hotel, with newly renovated rooms, fast inernet, and great breakfast. Stayed for three nights and it wasn't very noisy, walking distance resaurants and overall a pleasant stay
Hotel overall was a $75.00 a night, stop for the night hotel. Checked in at 1:30 in the morning because of Hurricane and charged $210.00 so we didn't fall a sleep on the road. Room was way below average, free breakfast was passed on by most, coffee and banana were good. Would never stay again, would sleep under a bridge rather than be robbed by this hotel again. The only bright spot was the night desk clerk, extremly nice man. We plan on contacting attorney general for gouging.
