Nice location. They are renovating so will be interested to see when complete. Room looked nice. Needs step off deck. It's old and section of floor creaked. Could have used different material to grout tube/shower. Had very noisy individuals above and staff were very nice to address it.

The inside is nice. I didn't like the virtual office staff, especially when I am in stating a problem, room number etc and there is man behind me hearing where I am and that the deadbolt doesn't work and I am alone with my daughter. The man said he could come to take a look, which may have been nice friendly person but when staying with daughter alone I didn't feel safe. Can't believe no one had mentioned the deadbolt didn't work as the wood wasn't even cut out of the hole. Also clearly states on my paperwork that with the additional $10 resort fee as day that beach access was included. I went and asked when arrived and told no one on site to fix lock or give beach passes so would both be taken care of in morning. I was told 4 passes in morning would be given to me. I called in morning to check on the lock and passes. I was told sorry manager just told me not allowed to give you passes as you booked online and not directly through us. I said clearly listed here included. I was told to go to office and could buy them. I also stated that I wanted door fixed as didn't sleep all night hearing noises at door and nervous about man seeing me and 4 yr old alone and knowing what room we were in. That to me is a safety issue and should have been fixed immediately it was 530pm, not like 10 pm when I checked in. I was transferred by Shirley I believe her name was to manager and left a voice message which still 2 days later has not been returned. Falsely advertising and bad customer srvce
