Hotels near Carolina Beach Arcade

"Parking was tight, but there is an overflow lot a half block or so away. We never needed that. We loved the fact that our 7/F room looked directly out beyond the pool and Tiki Bar fire pit onto the ocean. The artwork in the room was to our liking too. The bathroom was well appointed, and the little refrigerator was useful. The lobby was comfortable and attractive. Having stayed in five star hotels with included breakfast, I have to qualify the perfect score on the breakfast, but it was perfectly fine. If you like to walk (a lot) and not only on the beach, treat yourself to the trails at the nearby Carolina Beach NC State Park. Most importantly, we liked the coffee always available in the lobby. "The floor was sticky and dirty. It seemed like it was washed with very dirty water. The room smelled like rotten shrimp. The bathtub in the adjacent bedroom had a large dirt stain on the bottom. I believe the dirty water from the floor mop bucket was poured in and never properly cleaned out. The shower in this tub did not work, the problem was the plumbing knob. The chairs on the balcony were dirty. The towels and bedding were very clean. "
