Lovely quiet, tranquil getaway.
Lovely quiet, tranquil getaway. Lucy is a great hostess, very accommodating to our incredibly last minute booking. Cottage is very well-equipped, comfortable, cosy, and spacious. Plenty of walks right from the doorstep and plenty of activities (beaches, walks, Botanic gardens) well within driving distance. Absolutely loved playing fetch with Mabli the farm dog, she's adorable. Had plenty of drinks sat out watching the farm cats, sheep, hens and horses, and the abundance of wildlife (red kites, buzzards, house martins, woodpeckers and jays to name but a few). Was exactly the peaceful get-away-from-it-all we needed and came home so relaxed and refreshed. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Spent a week at pwll farmhouse 16th August.
Spent a week at pwll farmhouse 16th August. In a beautiful location very peaceful and quiet. The cottage is beautiful very relaxing and cosy. Plenty of space for everyone. The owner Lucy is on hand for any needs you may have she is a great host. The lady in the next cottage is lovely and kind and her dog mabli is the sweetest dog we ever met very friendly always wanting to play even tagged along with us on a walk. I would definitely stay there again. The cottage is stocked with games dvds and books so you can't get bored. I would only recommend that a new tumble dryer and washing machine is needed as they are very dated and do not work the best. The farmhouse is very clean and has everything you need. Tesco deliver too. Camarthen town is like 20 minutes away there you will find everything you need.
We had a family stay at Pwll Farmhouse, as a group of adults we wanted to go walking in the nearby forest and explore the Brecon beacons. We also travelled a bit further to Tenby and up the coastline in that area too.
We really enjoyed our stay, the interior of the house has the feel of a relaxed family home with very tasteful, well thought out design. Great very well equipped kitchen and lovely bathrooms. It was spotlessly clean, warm and very welcoming, Lucy the owner even left us a cake on arrival. I highly recommend this cottage.
