Pros: I liked the contactless check-in. All went smoothly. Easy and available free parking. Water and snacks provided in the lobby. Loved the quiet residential location of the hotel, convenient to Carlsbad Village. The inn is quaint and picturesque. The corner room was bright and cozy with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Great shower pressure. Con: While the room was clean and comfortable, there were many stains on the carpet. The carpet needed to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced. There was a dent in the wall that needs to be repaired. This lapse in maintenance/upkeep doesn’t reflect well on a hotel that has much going for it.

Such an amazing location and love that the parking is free. A place with a lot of charm and cool vibes. Comfortable beds and hot showers. Walking distance to good coffee and breakfast, lunch, dinner, beach, etc. Will definitely be back!!

I would definitely stay at this property again we had the Newport room which was right in front and it was amazing. The room was clean, and you could walk to the village in 3 mins. Highly recommended!
