Great location. Clean room, excellent amenities. Great location from beach and short 10-15 minute walk to downtown. 2 of us drove over and my wife and son flew into SD airport, caught a shuttle to the train depot and rode the Coaster up. Easy trip!

wonderful trip

The location is great for walking to all attractions in Carlsbad. Beach is steps away from condo. The living area may need to upgrade their cooling unit but other than that no complaints at all. Bedrooms stayed cool and other amenities were very nice. Even had coffee so we did not have to purchase items to leave behind. Thank you so much for a great place.

Location, location, location!

Booked this property (unit 4) for several days to enjoy the beach and surrounding area. First imporessions were excellent- the property is easy to find, provides free covered parking, and a nicely updated interior. All the ammenities of home are here too: comfy beds, TVs in every room (with cable), excellent wifi, a nice kitchen with everything you need to cook a meal... the list goes on. Top of my list for this property is its location! Walkability is through the roof here- you're a 4 minute walk to sand, less than 10 minute walks to incredible eateries of all variety... it's really wonderful. You also have quick access to the freeway if you're wanting to hit up San Diego or another nearby beach city (La Jolla, Del Mar, Encinitas, etc.). You are provided all the beach gear you could need- 4 chairs, 2 umbrellas, 2 boogie boards, sand toys and a large beach cart to haul it all! We spent a couple days at the beach and these items came in so handy! We had an awesome setup as we spent the entire day resting and playing on the beach. Carlsbad State Beach was wonderful- clean, large beaches with lifeguard towers nearby. Friendly people, access to bathrooms, it has it all. We had AC units in both bedrooms and slept comfortably each night. Our teenage daughter absolutely loved the bed! A wonderful spot, would highly recommend! Oh yeah, there's a courtyard on site with gas grills, fire pit, tables/chairs- a great spot to hang and relax for larger groups!

We have stayed at Beach Palms many times. It is the perfect location to enjoy everything Carlsbad has to offer. Easy walking distance to restaurants & shopping. Close enough to hear the surf. Close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Condo is extremely clean and had everything we needed. Any questions we had were answered right away. Can’t say enough. My only complaint is that my pants no longer fit from all of the great restaurants and bars nearby!

Great location across from the beach

So glad we stayed at #4 in this building, great views of the ocean and great amenities. Very comfy rooms and beds, which we appreciated traveling all the way across the country! The interior courtyard was very nice and quiet, only accessible to those staying in the building, and that's where you'll also find the recycling bins and laundry (which has its own detergent, not coin-operated which was nice). The outdoor shower and garbage dumpster are outside the front of the building, and the beach supplies are at each parking spot. Very convenient location to walk to the beach and shops in Carlsbad, and the Coaster stop isn't too far off either. So glad we found this listing, we'd highly recommend!
